I ordered a regular sized bacon 3 cheesesteak and this is what I got for 12 dollars. Its 60 percent bread and it doesnt even taste that crazy. I love Charlie’s but this is the worst cheesesteak ive ever received from them. Dont come here if you want a quality sandwich. Also I asked for a cup of water and the cashier dropped my lid on the counter and still tried to use it on my drink. I had to ask to have the lid replaced. Im never coming to this location again.

UPDATE: 2/22/25 so after my last experience I decided to give this spot one more try by ordering a veggie combo that came up to $16. I asked for Provolone cheese no mayo, no tomatoes no lettuce which I had to state multiple times to the cashier. I got a sandwhich with several cheeses on it. I told the boxing up woman I asked for provolone, she proceeds to explain to me how the sandwiches come with three cheeses, I said yes I know which is why I ordered provolone. She explained to me three more times the sandwiches come with three cheese then said I should have told the cashier. I said we did tell the cashier, I have someone with me as witness. She said you have to take this. I said no I will not, so the cook had to snatch the box from her put it in the trash and make another all because the cashier didn’t listen multiple times. These two women are stressing this man and me as a woman so I will never return. I order from Charley’s at Arbor Place at least twice a month, and usually love it. But on September 8th, 2024, I decided to switch it up and go after lunch to get a Chicken Philly instead of my usual veggie or steak. I was really disappointed when my sandwich arrived. It didn’t look anything like the picture or the other steak Phillies I’ve had before. There were barely any mushrooms, onions, green peppers, or provolone. I had to ask them to add more, and while the customer service was friendly, they acted like I was making a big deal over nothing. I just don’t understand why my sandwich couldn’t look like everyone else’s it was almost $14 for a chicken combo, I go other places and pay that for steak Phillies! Look at the before and after pics and they are on one with how little fries they give for this rate.

The large Teriyaki Chicken cheesesteak combo with fries and a drink is my go to order. The cheese steak was cheesy and the interior was crisp but sadly it deteriorated a bit after a couple bites, although it doesn’t take away the flavor and the char it brings. Fries were crispy and the large drink was refreshing. To those curious I got a Large Coke Zero.

Do not waste money on these nasty wings. They are dry, you can hardly bite them because they are over cooked. Their sandwiches are decent but the wings are a no for me!!!! The sauce is terrible too!! That’s what I get for ordering wings from a sandwich shop. I gave them 3 stars because their service is always good.

Came on my lunch from the hospital. Wanted a good meal from a long shift. As my energy was high and was happy to support the business by just seeing what they offer. Besides the young lady at the register. Everyone else’s energy was off. They was not customer service liked. And when I ask for mayo packages because the sandwich didn’t have it on there like I ask. They say .50 cents for mayo packages. I just shook my head and walked off. Needless to say. I will not be stopping by there station. To aggressive and not PLEASANT IT AT ALL!

Food is great and the people that work there are even better. Very nice and friendly. Atmosphere not so much because it’s in the mall which I don’t care for BUT the food is great. They do make it worth going to the mall for them!!

I go here all the time because I’m a Phillycheesesteak lover and this place has consistently good sandwiches.
Only problem is they are very slow, but it’s because they make your cheesesteak sandwich on the spot, so you sometimes have to sacrifice time for freshness. Also this last time I ordered the blueberry lemonade and while it’s usually very tasty, this time the “blue-berry” addition was more like pasty chunks on the bottom and didn’t mix up well.
Another reason for not giving 5 stars are the prices, a little high for a mall eatery.
5 stars for food and service, 3 for bad lemonade and prices, total 4.

This place deserves 0 stars. The service is THE WORST! Every time I go eat there it never fails to surprise me how incredibly rude they are. On two separate occasions my family and I have been treated so poorly. I went in to ask for a LARGE chicken teriyaki, and they lady gave it to me on a small bun? They were just too lazy to go back there, and grab more buns so they used a small one. On another occasion I went to go order, and the women didn’t even greet me she just said with a bad attitude “we don’t have any other meat, just chicken.” I said okay, and ordered. I handed her my money, and she snatched it from me! I then asked her tomatoes on the side, and she gave me a peel of a tomato!! My fries were the oldest, and coldest fries you could get. I wish I had checked my order before I left. I’ve had nothing, but unpleasant experiences here. I could honestly go on, but I advise no one to eat here anymore unless they do something about their service quality, because it’s not okay.
