Ramen noodle restaurant in fashion outlet mall of Chicago. Food was ok. I asked for spicy and it was truly spicy. Egg was not fully cooked. Service was decent and fast. Prices were high, maybe because it’s the fancy mall, but I think it is overpriced compared to the food. Food court was noisy.

Was excited to dine for quick stop, glad it has ramen especially its freezing outside’ food was mediocre nothing special, no wow factor. Great selection and service was not polite and welcoming! Buying food at food court and it has tip? Why

Really good ramen! The broth was super rich and tasty, noodles cooked just right, and the toppings were fresh. Loved the corn and egg — they hit the spot. Didn’t expect it to be this good for a mall food court place. Would totally come back again!

Ordered two beef noodle, one is fine, the other is extra salty even diluted with miso soup. Also there is a piece of steel scrub in the one time used plastic bowl. Although the flavor of the other one is not bad.

Popped into Umaka Ramen at the Fashion Outlets in Rosemont after shopping—convenient spot for a quick ramen fix. Ordered the tonkotsu with extra chashu for $14.95; the noodles were chewy and fresh, and the pork slices were tender enough. Broth had a nice milky base but felt a tad bland and salty without much depth—could’ve used more garlic or spice to punch it up. Portions are on the smaller side for the price, and assembly (toppings added post-cook) feels a bit fast-food-ish, not like a true ramen-ya. Service was friendly via kiosk, but the food court vibe kills any immersion. Solid 3/5: Fine if you’re nearby and craving noodles, but skip for something more authentic like Mitsuwa Marketplace spots. Would try the spicy beef next time for variety.

All I have to is the food was AMAZING! I got the yakiniku beef rice bowl and I may or may not have shed a tear.. but the lady at the front was super duper sweet and the food was AMAZING. Nothing more I can say

No tempura in tempura udon($17)? I ordered the tempura udon for takeout, paid $16.50, and received plain noodles in soup no tempura at all. I essentially paid almost $17 for what tasted like noodles in water with a splash of tsuyu. No flavor, and absolutely not worth the price. Based on the quality, the cost of making this can’t be more than $2.50. Totally unacceptable, and I expect a refund.
Honestly, if the plain udon had at least tasted good, I wouldn’t be this upset. A $1 cup noodle has more authenticity and flavor than this. The store was already closed when I realized their mistake, and I have a long flight in the morning, so I can’t even call them to resolve this. Haha ridiculous.
I thought I needed to let people know that this is likely the experience you will have when you visit here!

The food is delicious especially because of the soup, it adds flavor to the noodles which makes it better, I also like how nicely put together everything is. Not only that but the chicken is very crunchy, crispy and has high quality appetizers. This definitely deserves a 5 star rating.

“This place isn’t very good. I ordered through the kiosk and I definitely added egg, chashu, and bamboo shoots, but the ramen only came with bamboo shoots — no egg or chashu. I also bought water, but they didn’t give it to me unless I asked.”
