This small-town restaurant serves a wide variety of delicious homemade food, and everything we ordered was spot on.
We tried the taco salad, ponyshoe, and the meatloaf dinner. The taco salad shell was perfectly fried to a crispy, golden brown. We asked for the ground beef on the side to keep the shell from getting soggy, and it worked out perfectly – great flavor and fresh ingredients throughout. The ponyshoe with the hamburger was cooked just right, topped with warm, gooey cheese over the fries and burger. The meatloaf was flavorful with a generous portion, and the mashed potatoes and corn were served hot and tasted great.
Overall, the food was excellent. When I called in the order, the woman who took it wasn’t the friendliest, but the amazing food more than made up for that. The woman at the pickup window, however, was absolutely wonderful and made the experience much better.

Went here as we were passing through town, and it didn’t disappoint. Their large salad, was just that–LARGE. The pretzel app with beer cheese were amazing. The service was spot on. And the bar area is like a bar your rich friend has in his basement. It was a super pleasent surprise.

Ordered country skillet, biscuits and gravey, side of American fries deep fried. Sausage gravey was not on country skilled it was some kind of brown gravey with sausage pieces, that looked like vomit. Sausage gravy for breakfast should be white. American fries were not deep fried, however the potatoes in my skillet were. Asked for three eggs over easy. Nope got four over cooked. The bacon and sausage must have been left over from yesterday. Bacon was hard and unchewable. Horrible….. I do take out alot because of the little woman cant get out. Never again this the third chance I’ve giving them. Sure was better before it sold out…..

Discovered this place by accidentally driving by one day and smelled the hamburgers….I just knew what the flavor was going to be.! Never a disappointment. Don’t be in a hurry. They get slammed sometimes. Finally was there on ONION RING day, after 4. HANDS DOWN THE LIGHTEST AND BEST EVER . HAND MADE and Huge serving.

Service was very poor.She just threw our menu’s and sliverware on table and took off. Server not welcoming or friendly. Food was barely edible and very pricey everything is separately priced. 9.99 for just cheeseburger then another 5.99 for fries, 10.99 for fried mushrooms, 6 potatoe skins 10.99. First time there and will not return. Hope this saves someone from this experience. We eat at lots of local restaurants and they are always very friendly and happy to see you come in! That is not the case at R&B’s family restaurant.

We really enjoy coming here. It’s a large capacity, family friendly, down home cookin’ kinda restaurant and bar. We’ve been multiple times and have no complaints. well, the parking could be better, but otherwise, I really like this place a lot.
The food is great, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is nice.

It was a Friday night so it was busy and we had to wait but it was worth it. The catfish and baked potatoes are delicious and my pony shoe was great. I didn’t get to try the buffet but from what I could see I will definitely be getting that next time. Oh and the chocolate cream pie was amazing!

Located in Staunton IL, this quaint little restaurant was really good. The restaurant was well kept and the staff was friendly. They have a full service bar area, and plenty of seating. Its the type of place where people will remember you by name when you visit. Prices were reasonably priced and the food was tasty. Our order was correct and accurate. Lots of options other than “Do you want fries with that..” As you can see by the photo I got a baked potato with my buffalo chicken wrap. Would definitely visit them again.

We enjoyed this place. Food was good, prices were good, fried chicken liver appetizers – excellent. Nice atmosphere, they have a liquor license if you want a drink – tasty buffet. Cozy.

I came in at 9:30 for lunch and realized it was quite early. “You can order lunch here anytime!” Great menu, they STILL had reasonable prices and good size portions. Delicious too!!! A hard to find anymore Reuben Sandwich.
