You can taste in every bit the time and effort they put into their BBQ. I had there two meat plate. I had their chicken and ribs with a side of their baked beans. All three were awesome. If you are driving on route 51 and driving through Wesson, MS. You must stop at Dump’s BBQ.

DUMPS, DUMPS, DUMPS! The customer service was amazing, the taste and quality of the food is even better! The burger was a nice homemade style burger with good flavor and not dry at all! The ribs were flavorful and tender. If you’re ever in near the Wesson exit, hop off and head to dumps.

We had a trip to Wesson for our son’s robotic team competition.
I researched to find a local spot to have lunch at while attending the competition.
Dump’s BBQ looked to be the spot, it had numerous rave reviews and we love our BBQ.
We trek on over to Dumps for lunch with much anticipation of gnawing on some in house smoked BBQ.
Once we arrived to Dump’s, we could smell the smoke from the wood and that’ll always get you saliva glands in a frenzy!
We step inside Dump’s and was greeted with a smile, from Mr. Dump.
We sat down and then overlooked the menu, our son decided on the Rib platter with baked beans and mac-n-cheez!
My wife and I decided to go with the “Big Dump” at a very generous price of $26.00!
It’s basically a sampler that comes with two sides of your choice, we went with the coleslaw and potato salad!
The food came out swiftly and very hot!
The “Big Dump” is the way to go, (Ribs, Pulled Pork, Pork Tenderloin, & Smoked Sausage), each bite of meat was incredible, smoked to perfection and tender.
You don’t need any sauce at Dump’s!
They have sauce, it you prefer your BBQ that way!
Now, let’s talk about the absolute best sauce, I’ve tasted in many year’s!
It’s called “Dump’s Sauce”, this sauce will take your taste buds on an atmospheric journey like no other!
It’s a vinegar based sauce with many secret ingredients to go along with the base.
This sauce was so good, we took 2 quarts back with us to the Ms. Gulf Coast!
All we can say, if you’re passing through Wesson, Ms, we highly suggest to “GET YOUR DUMP ON”!

Best ribs in the area. Better than anything in Hazlehurst or Brookhaven. My boys beg us to eat here every night. They have a regular dine in area and a “tv room” that you can eat in and it’s like being at your house. It’s got a tv and couches and recliner. Great little spot to get some lunch or dinner.

We loved this place and you will too. It is worth a drive from a distance to dine here. The food was great. I’ve never had better barbecue. The owner welcomed us at the door and made us feel at home right away. The extra spaces were great. One room is dedicated to the military people and another for kids to enjoy. I can’t say enough good about our experience. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m close by.

My husband and I came up here to the state lake to fish and was told to stop and try this place. The owner was at the door welcoming us in. The food was amazing. We got the sampler plate. The tenderloin with the dump sauce was our favorite. The service was great. He even took us on a tour of the pit. Great atmosphere and we’ll definitely be coming back.
