I’ve been to many Mexican eateries thru the years and this was my first time trying La Finca a few miles west of Spencer, WVA. Service was decent of this Mexican eatery. I had the grilled chicken, orange/yellow rice & corn mix, salad & fries dinner and of that lot, only the yellow rice/corn & french fries were tasty and really good….however, the rest of that meal was awful & tasted like it was washed with detergent and refused to eat more of it. You get tortilla chips & salsa one time around…they were decently good. Hard to get second load of tortilla chips/salsa both though. 2 stars for what could be a potentially good place to eat if they would just make their food more tastier. It’s also located quite a bit outside of town too with very limited parking.

We could not love this place more. The Carnitas are the absolute best and the Taco salad was awesome. The place is just a nice SUPER clean unpretentious place with great people.

We have dined at LA Finca about 50 times. Never one complaint.
July 1, 2024 we had 2 dinner entrees including shrimp chicken and steak, iced tea and a tall draft. We chose cheese dip to compliment the complimentary warm chips and homemade salsa. We had room for fried ice cream.

I called in and order to be picked up I ordered a 3-inch a lot of cheese enchilada meal a two chalupa meal a side of rice and beans and a side of flour tortillas they told me that my food would be ready in approximately 20 minutes had about 15 minutes after talking with them I arrived at the restaurant location I’ve been proceeded to call and phone inside to see if my food was ready and it could be picked up or did I need to wait so I didn’t have to stand there waiting they inform you that my food was indeed ready to be picked up and I could come on in and pick it up after paying for my food I waited approximately 10 minutes to receive my order after paying and transferring the food to my wife and what appeared to be substantial containers to keep the food hot and ready for my enjoyment. However much to my dismay when I arrived home and my wife and I opened up the containers of the hopefully delicious and well-season Mexican food that we were expecting however that is not what we encountered we encountered cold chalupas cold enchiladas where the cheese had not even been melted, cold rice and beans and cold flour tortillas that despite me being hungry and disappointed at

Honestly, this is the best Mexican restaurant anywhere! My husband and I go here when we can, even though we don’t live close to the area anymore. Try their queso dip. It is unlike any you have ever had. The service is fantastic and the food is absolutely delicious!

Literally sitting in the parking lot writing this review. Visiting family down here from northern Ohio and we have several good Mexican restaurants around us but I think this is my new favorite. Too bad it’s five hours away. The salsa was amazing. I got the fajita chimichangas and my husband got the fajita burrito. Great food, the flavor was amazing. And service was also excellent.
