We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and it was a wonderful experience! We sat at the bar and had the sushi kaiseki course menu with many many tasty, beautifully prepared Japanese dishes. Some were familiar and some were new to us. The quality of the fish and rest of the ingredients was excellent. There weren’t too many people when we were there, so it felt like private meal, but I hope more people get to enjoy this place. The chef and staff were extremely attentive and made our night feel very special – thank you!

We came here for our anniversary and had an absolutely perfect tonight! The staff was wonderful, very friendly, and the restaurant is new and beautiful. We got the Shabu Shabu and sushi combination and every single dish they brought was fantastic. We just got back from Japan a month ago and were missing it, and this entire experience was so authentically Japanese and the quality was absolutely five stars! Highly recommend and they have a ton of menu options for vegan, no fish, etc. The cocktails and dessert were great too! We will be back!

This was my third time dine here. The food is always top-notch and high quality, authentic with very reasonable prices. I believe the sushi chef, Minoru, was the head chef at a previous sushi restaurant, and his sushi is consistently amazing. I’ve been here twice for business dinners, and the atmosphere is spacious and clean, making it suitable for both family dining and business occasions. Highly recommended.

Had a perfect experience here for DineLA! Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The sushi was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. It was fresh, balanced, and full of flavor.
Definitely worth the price for the quality and overall experience. Great service, great atmosphere, and a meal that truly stands out. Would absolutely come back!

Good high quality sashimi and sushi. Got the Omakase Sushi Kaiseki Yawaragi – plenty of food. They were accommodating to Gluten Free which was great.

A Little Taste of Japan in LA
I wasn’t expecting to feel like I was in Japan, but Eigikutei really took me there. If you’ve been to Japan and had kaiseki, you’ll know what I mean — this place hits all the right notes.
The uni was incredibly fresh, the beef so tender it practically melted, and the fish was perfectly aged. Honestly, I’ve never had such authentic Japanese food in LA before. It was one of those meals where you just sit back and think, “This is the real deal.”
The staff was super friendly, which really added to the feeling like I was dining in Japan. I’ll definitely be back for a special occasion. Just make sure to book a reservation.

I just visited this restaurant for the 1st time ! I was told about them from my sister & others & very excited to dine at this restaurant & it didn’t disappoint !! I smelled some nostalgic scent as soon as I entered this place ,ot brought back some nice memories to me of my favourite restaurant in Tokyo I used to go to all the time as a school girl & all the way to my college !! I loved the beautiful interior & luxurious atmosphere Everything was beautiful, the presentations were so ~nice & every single thing tasted very good !!! I loved Yuzu sparkling juice ,too !! You is like between orange & lemon , we use it for dishes a lot in Japan !! We had a full course meal in vegan version !! They were fun to look at & off course ,to taste !! The owner was super friendly & everyone working there was very friendly as well !! My favourites amonh all are the 1st appetizers served in 3 small dishes & a cold noodle dish & main nabe = hot pot dish ( sesame flavour ,came with napa cabage,mushrooms,2 different kinds of tofu & shungiku ( mums flower’s leaves ! Which is my all time fave !! ),konjaku( actually we say ” konnyaku “! )& udon noodles !!! It must be difficult to get all the materials ( groceries )for Japanese high end traditional full course style meals here in Los Angeles !! 1stly ,rare stuff are almost impossible to get here & the cost of them will raise the prices for us to pay !! As well as Americans might not like them or even understand why they’re so good !! Lol. So,despite all the odds ,they pulled through amazingly !! In their own way & a vegan way !! Very creative !! The best one is in Kyoto ,Japan ,off course !!! If you’re vegan or vegetarian & wanna experience Japanese traditional full course meal, you should visit Kyoto for ” SHOUJIN RYOURI” !!!( ryouri means dishes )There’s nothing like that & no one comes close !!! But,this restaurant created very nice dishes & the atmosphere is authentic !! The server lady told us that new vegan dishes will be introduced the next month !! We can’t wait !! There was a sushi counter & my mom had tuna & sea urchins. She is a vegetarian as well ,but lately started eating fish a little ! They had shabu shabu as well !! I liked the location, too !! It’s a couple of minutes away from Miyako hotel ! So,it is very easy to find !! I recommend everyone to dress nicely !! I loved that it was a wheelchair accessible restaurant !!
We had a yuzu sherbet as a dessert
They also had roasted green tea which we love !!
I highly recommend this restaurant !!! Whenever you go to Little Tokyo in downtown, Los Angeles & you feel like treating yourself with a delicious Japanese full course meal ,look no further !!

This restaurant was so refreshing! The food and the atmosphere was so clean that I wanted to stay here forever. Dinner was a bit brighter and quieter than expected but the lighting was amazing!
We got the sukiyaki, shabu shabu, and some sushi. The appetizers were really fantastic even though the seafood was quite exotic (jellyfish and monk fish liver the day we were there). It might have actually been my favorite thing!
Everything was great and I’m sure I wouldn’t have been disappointed no matter what we ordered!

Authentic Japanese style Shabu place. They do not have variety of chemistry broth here. All they offer is decent quality meat choice. Its totally dofferent than other hot pot place. Even the shabu set doesnt like large but I got stuffed after finishing my meal. Service and food prep detail are both exellent. Relax and high ceiling eating atmosphere. The only downside is the restroom really strong smell even its cleaned.
