We were looking for a new place to try that was a small mom and pop and we hit the jackpot. They just opened April 1st so not been open for that long. Place is super clean, people are super nice and the food was pretty darn tasty! Our server, Ashley was super nice and attentive. We ordered breaded pickles(one of my favorites) for an appetizer and they were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The lovely Mrs ordered a buffalo chicken flatbread pizza but asked to swap the buffalo sauce with bbq. She seemed to enjoy it. I was tearing in to the fish and chips(okay I had cheese penne) and loving every bite. The folks sitting across from us chatted to us as we looked at the menu and I asked what was good. We ordered what they suggested and this worked out very well for us. The breading on the fish reminded me of a very popular chicken place with a dose of cracked black pepper. It was just so delicious. The penne was so good but I saved most of that and half the fish for lunch tomorrow. I love places like this. A small mom and pop store making food that you can tell they put thought in to it. We need to support non chains like this… give them a try, thank me later.

This is our first visit at the Village Station Bar & Grill.
The staff is friendly. We were there around 5:00 on a Friday and there was no waiting. Our food came very quickly and everything was hot and delicious. We ordered the Fish & Chips and the Boom Boom Shrimp with Saratoga Chips.

Ordered to go: fried pickles, black and blue burger and fries.

The fries were awesome!
The fried pickles were THICK and seemed like the needed more breading to get the crispyness ratio right. They were a bit soggy.
The burger was packed with flavor that I loved, the burger was also on the thicker side too.

So the price to portion ratio is generous. Nice experience and I want to try more from the menu now!

Pretty good food and good drinks. Had beer on draft, fish and chips, and fried pickles. All of it was well made. It was pretty busy when we went and they were short-staffed but the manager jumped in to help out and make it work.

The waitress was wonderful! She answered all of our questions about the food choices and was quick to bring us more drinks and extra napkins . Stopped in for lunch/dinner while in town. The restaurant was clean and the booths comfortable. (They have tables and chairs if you prefer)The food was hot, fresh and delicious
We ordered the chicken chunks and Chicken Alfredo. Both dishes were excellent!
The Chicken Alfredo had a generous amount of thick grilled white chicken strips on top of the Alfredo and noodles. It was perfect!
The chunks were perfect too. They were cooked just right and juicy on the inside with just enough sauce.. I ordered mild and they were not hot at all, which is what I wanted.
I ordered blue cheese for the chicken and it was the best I’ve ever eaten.
I bought some to take home.
All of the dressings are homemade.
Bringing the family next time.
Highly recommend this restaurant!
My new favorite.

We showed up with 12 people in our party. This was my second time there (I don’t live in the area)! Our waitress was Courtney and she was fabulous! Our drinks never run empty and everyone said their meal was delicious! Some had shrimp, wings, Rueben and burgers etc. the mushrooms were amazing! Thank you to Courtney for being amazing to us!! The world needs more people like her ❤️

The atmosphere was good and clean. The food was not so great. When asking if the fish platter was beer battered, the waitress said, yes. When it arrived, the fish was definitely not beer battered, nor the fries completely fried. Nothing special or unique about this dining experience to take it to five stars.

The class of 1983 had their reunion at V.S. we danced and had a great time! Highly recommend it for any type of get together. Our class mates and others have been attending Trivia nights for quite some time now. I have never eaten anything I didn’t like . I
cant speak for all but i bet my classmates feel the same way.

My husband and I shared a meal. The menu said shrimp Alfredo. It said GRILLED shrimp but it came out fried with the tails on. The shrimp was horrible! We also ordered fries and they weren’t very good. There was nothing on the 7 or 8 TV’s but FOX NEWS! Boo! The one waitress had 5 tables to wait on and we felt neglected. We like to support local businesses but we won’t be going back.
