I had high hopes for this place, but was actually rather disappointed with both noodle dishes that we tried.

The pork belly shoyu ramen broth was really bland and the pork was a bit tough. The additional kimchi definitely helped.

The shrimp coconut spicy curry laksa was even more disappointing given that there was only one shrimp cut in half! We made a comment to the host, who said that unfortunately this was the recipe as developed by Edward Lee but that they could give us more in a separate bowl (we just said no thank you that’s fine if that’s the way it’s meant to be…).

Perhaps they are just figuring things out, but I hope the offerings improve – it’s a nice concept and I was looking forward to it as a new addition to my neighborhood.

We happened to stumble in off the street just when we were craving some noodles. My husband had the shoyu ramen and we both thought the broth was great! I had the jigae and it was such a treat to try something I have been trying to find for a while now. The perfect bit of spice and flavor.

Had the Pork Belly Shoyu Ramen with 7-minute Egg. Plus kimchi. Really really delicious. Will definitely get this again. Daughter had the Fried Chicked Katsu Burger looked really good. She said it was yummy.

Not much for service front of house. Only 1 worker, other customers came in and waited. Ended up leaving due to no service. TOGO Online was great though. Recommend Spicy Curry Laksa and wings were great starter
Thanks Chef

Just an outstanding experience all around. Loved the intimate countertop seating (with open windows for the gorgeous weather), the service was excellent and the food delicious!

Well decorated space, love the mural. Came by for carry out on a Wednesday night 40 minutes before close and the staff whipped up my order very quickly. The shoyu ramen did not meet my expectations–hardly any broth in the to-go bowl and no toppings except corn and non-marinated eggs–it was very bland.

Small menu, small space but food was good. My friend got the Bu-Dee Jigae and wasn’t a big fan so the waitress was nice enough to let her try something else. I got the Taiwanese Beef Noodles and enjoyed it.

The pork belly ramen was EXCELLENT! ( I took it to go) – egg and pork belly perfectly cooked! Broth was a umami flavor I crave!
Can’t wait to go back.

A nice place that definitely gives off the vibe of a cozy small noodle shop you might find tucked down an alley in an Asian city.
