This was my very first time ever having Panda Express from any location so I dont know if this is a bad location or what the deal was. But this was GROSS! G-R-O-S-S! We got the highly recommended orange chicken, cream cheese rangoons, an egg roll, and honey sesame chicken with fried rice and chow mein. The ONLY thing that was halfway decent was the honey chicken and even that was only a 5/10. Seriously. This was the worst dinner I’ve had in literal years. Save yourself some money and buy the boxed frozen stuff because it tastes the exact same. The rangoons were extremely bitter and tasted like oil. The chicken egg roll was bland literally tasted the exact same as the kind you get from Walmart for $3 for 5 of them. Thankfully, I had sauce to dip it in or I would’ve thrown it out. I’m not a food snob of any kind. It really doesnt take much to please my taste buds. But I will absolutely skip this entire food chain because of this experience and cringe every day when I drive passed it to go to work. YUCK! Absolutely hated it.

Buyer/management is a joke. Ordered through the drive thru and they were out of one of the items I ordered, and then they were out of the backup, the backup to the backup, and the backup to the backup to the backup. I added an app to my order which was accepted. Then when I got to the window, they informed me they were actually out of the app too. When I offered to wait for any of that to be cooked, they said they’re just out of it completely. She offered sauce, after which I requested teriyaki sauce and she said they were out of that too. Management here needs serious work. I won’t waste my time here again.

I don’t give a lot of reviews but my experience tonight deserves one. One of the employees, Minniee, is fantastic. It was busy and she kindly greeting everyone walking in the door while not missing a beat to get food on plates and served. After serving you she made sure to say have a blessed night. But above all the way she handled a hearing impaired lady who was alone placing an order was really impressive. The food was fresh and great, service was excellent, I’ll be a returning customer.

Out of about 6 Panda Restaurants that we have ate at in different areas, this was the best food we have had at one. Everything was better than we expected, even the tea. Ours in Spartanburg could take some notes from you guys for sure! Also it was as quick but fresh as it could be.

This Panda Express was really good the first couple months it was open. But the quality in service and food has significantly dropped.
The two girls who were on the shift tonight either needs some training or to find another job. Items were missing from our order, so we were asked to wait. Mind you, it’s one eggroll. She said “we’re making it fresh pull around some one will bring it out”
After we waited for 15 mins, went inside, they were seated, chatting up a storm with a tray full of egg rolls. They clearly had no intentions of bringing it out. Because the girl asked it was paid for when there was literally one car in the drive through after us the whole time we were waiting there.
Not to mention there was NO MEAT in the second entree. Straight green beans is CRAZY!

The negative reviews are true. My first time at this location was today and the food was not done. The vegetables not done and the onions and peppers were huge and also not done. The chow mein was semi hard as if it needed to cook longer. Only good thing about it is the price. Can’t even say the speed of them preparing my order bc I would’ve preferred it take longer and be completely cooked. I don’t have to go back.

I don’t typically write reviews on fast food restaurants because most never wow me enough to do so. But I can’t even begin to express how great my experience was tonight. Me and my boyfriend had dinner here and ordered our food and while we did that, Kody (the manager), was incredibly kind and welcoming to us. As we made our way to the checkout, he ensured to provide everything we needed for our dinner. Which honestly was about a 5 minute interaction. Me and my boyfriend sat down to eat and over heard every interaction he had with customers the entire time we were there. His personality didn’t change, his kindness didn’t change, and you can tell he is overall a very genuine person. It’s not common for people who work in fast food to love their job. But it was very clear he does.
So me and my boyfriend started to talk about what we were noticing and a memory sparked while talking about him. A few months ago we were eating at a different Panda Express on woodruff and we actually remembered him there too. It was a slightly rainy day and we decided to eat Panda. Although we didn’t interact with Kody during this time, who he was, was memorable enough. I remember the small interaction I had with him which was going up to him while he was chatting with a coworker to ask for a plastic bag. He was immediately willing and glad to help. So it was so crazy to see him at the Panda closer to where we live!
We wound up going up to Kody after we finished our meal and paid compliments to him about how much we appreciated his kindness. There is a light in him that not most people have and I’m blessed to have the small interaction we did today.
So just wanted to say thank you Kody! Your kindness made our day and we pray that you only continue to prosper in life! 🙂
