Great spot for a unique burger experience. We tried both the Kenji Burger and the Hapa Burger. While the teriyaki/ponzu sauce on the Kenji didn’t totally convince us (though still a solid burger), the Hapa Burger was the clear winner. The sriracha pineapple coleslaw was spot on: refreshing, crunchy, and it balanced the flavors perfectly. Definitely a fun dinner stop in Kilauea.
If you’re in the area in the evening, check out the view from the lighthouse. Even if it’s closed the viewpoint offer pretty spectacular views during sunset.

Very cool spot with covered outdoor seating area! Amongst a bunch of other shops and food options in the area. Great place to get out of the sun in the middle of the day! Lobster sushi wrap was light and delicious. My wife loved her klassic burger!

Misoyaki, Ahi, and two keiki burgers. These are fantastic sandwiches. Lots of flavor. The ginger dressing is fresh and zingy. Sitting is outdoors so dress accordingly. The fries are nicely done.

Came here with 3 kids and 3 adults. Fish sandwich was awesome, rainbow roll was the biggest one I’ve ever seen and delish. Kids menu was great with Chicken katsu and rice. House marg and beer was great at happy hour. Outside tables and chairs were comfortable for a big party. Fries were fresh. Highly recommend stopping here. Veggie burger was also great.

This is a small take out eatery serving some really good food. We tried the Hawaiian favourites such as poke and locomoco aside from sushi rolls, wings and the most amazing Kenji burger. Friendly service makes it worthwhile although servings were pretty small.

Not a bad spot to grab a drink and a burger.
The burgers are decent. Really flavorful, but a little messy. I should have expected it given it said ” Topped in Japanese sauce”
My fries weren’t crispy which was a bit of a disappointment. The furikake topping was a great flavor profile, but the texture of my fries didn’t help.
Cocktails were ok. $15 a lil high for Well vodka drink, but not out of this realm.
I’d probably check out other burger spots to try on the island before I would return here, but it’s not a bad Burger to give a try.

Really good burger at a good price for Kauai. A bit noisy at times. You gotta love squirting the chickens (which are everywhere, of course). Best tip: Furikake fries!

Ate lunch and dinner here with family of 6. Burgers were extraordinary. Try the jacked up fries with ponzu sauce and seeds. If gluten free, request meat patty without marinade (all patties marinaded in terriyaki). Fries in shared fryer. Usually crowded. Son reported the loco moco was best on the island. Most seating outside. Highly recommend.

I had a disappointing experience with the bartender, Jenny. While we were seated at the bar counter as guests, she approached us in a rude and aggressive manner, stating that the spot was reserved for her friend. There was no indication that the seat was reserved, and we were not informed beforehand.
The way the situation was handled felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Clear communication and courtesy go a long way in hospitality, and unfortunately that was lacking in this interaction.
I hope management addresses this, as it impacted what should have been an enjoyable visit.
