This deli is a new addition to the neighborhood, and it’s a welcome one. The menu has some creative options, the food is good, and it feels like a place that will only get better as they settle in.

You order at the counter and then pick up your food when they call your name, whether you’re eating in or taking it to go. The space is very small, about eight indoor café tables that hold three to four people each, so if you come during a busy time, be prepared that seating might be tight. Street parking is available right in front and on the side street, and even during the Saturday lunch rush it wasn’t too difficult to find a spot. We did notice, though, that if a few tables hadn’t opened up before our food was ready, we probably wouldn’t have been able to eat in.

Everything is served deli-style in to-go containers, even for dine-in orders. There are no real plates or metal utensils, which is a little basic, but very convenient if you don’t finish and want to take leftovers home. Drinks are all bottled from a cooler, no fountain drinks or self-serve water that we could see.

We shared a Double Stack Reuben and each had a small soup. The Reuben comes standard on pumpernickel with kraut and thousand island, but you can also get it as a lettuce wrap or on tomato-basil or flour wraps, which adds some flexibility. The meat and bread were very good quality with great flavor, and the portion was big enough for two to share. The downside was that the temperature was uneven, warm on the outside and cold in the middle, and the kraut and dressing were a bit light for our taste. We also didn’t see any extra condiments available.

The soups were the highlight. The potato soup was excellent, rich and comforting on a snowy day, and the Italian wedding soup was very good as well, with a homemade feel. Both tasted like they could have been made from scratch.

Pricing felt similar to other Columbus delis. Our total was around $40 for one Double Stack Reuben, two small soups, a SmartWater, and a Topo Chico, a bit like the typical local range for specialty deli sandwiches and sides. There was no music or background ambiance when we visited, just indoor café seating with an estimated capacity of around 45 people. A wheelchair could be pushed up to the cafe tables indoors, but we didn’t see child, or car carrier seats available.

Overall, this is a much-needed new spot for the area with good food and a lot of potential. With a little refinement on execution, more seating, and some attention to comfort details, it could easily become a neighborhood favorite.

Edit – I’ve been here 5-6 times now. The portions are very generous. The staff is great. The wait times are very reasonable. The sandwiches are great. London really needed a deli. I really hope this place stays. Highly recommended.

We have been here a couple times now and really love the sandwiches very generous portions and the soups are very good. Only two ladies working during busy lunch so wait times were very long. I assume they are still working out some of the procedures on the line. This is a great addition to London but definitely need to work on getting people in and out faster during the lunch rush. If you only have an hour for lunch it’s very tight. Otherwise love the place.

We are in love this new deli! The ingredients were top quality in the Reuben and beef dipper that we had. The cheddar broccoli soup was amazing. I give it a 10 out of 10 for the two times we’ve been there.

Went in when they weren’t busy, spent close to 40 after tip for 2 sandwich’s and a soup. My soup was under seasoned and I found a black beard hair halfway through the soup (I’m blonde) and my sandwich was eh nothing special. Going to give this place another chance because I want it to work out the folks seemed friendly enough.

The sandwiches were decent. The portion of meat was generous. Service was pretty slow. We had to wipe our table off as it was pretty dirty. I would probably go back for lunch again once they have settled in. I was disappointed they do not have a pastrami sandwich in the menu

Sandwiches were very good – lots of meat and flavor. The price, however, is on the high side. $13 for sandwich. Total bill approached $20 per person with chips and drink. Could you please make a special/combo around $15 for sandwich, chips, and drink? Would come more often if you could do that.

First time trying their subs, they’re not stingy with the meat like most places are and if anyone should complain about this place are just being picky, really good subs, my hubby liked it too, keep up the good work guys hope you’ll be around for a long time

I got the Beef Dipper and paid 13 for just the sandwich. The meat was generous and tasted good, however for the price of an 8 inch sandwich I thought it should at least include a pickle and chips.
