The beef with broccoli and white rice is decent. However the fried chicken wings were bland. Fried rice was plain out terrible. Awful taste and mushy. don’t recommend what so ever.

The chef changed and the food is inedible. This was once one of the best Chinese food spots in New Jersey but not anymore. All our dishes were very dark(too much soy sauce so VERY SALTY) We got sesame chicken and we can tell it has be re-fried multiple(see photo). It was hard. They need to get the old chef back.

It’s really hard to find good Chinese food in this area. This place seems to be the best but still lacks when compared to what we had when living in NYC. Food is good. Cash only, which can be annoying. Service is friendly but abrupt as only 2 people are usually working. They have some chairs but it’s really just for take out

Was nearby and needed lunch and was in the mood for Chinese and saw the reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. Asked for special order of Beef and Broccoli with garlic sauce, no problem attitude! Food was great and ready in no time! Would come back for sure.

I love Joy Food kitchen! The owners are hard working people turning out good honest food at a fair price. I have been ordering from JFK for many years and have never once had a negative experience. The food is always hot and delicious. The cash only, no frills atmosphere only adds to authenticity of the JFK experience. I hope Joy Food Kitchen never changes. May god bless them!!

Delicious! Huge portions of great tasting authentic Chinese dishes. I would have given 5 stars if they accepted cards for payment but they are cash only with no ATM on site. Just a minor inconvenience to stop by the bank before you grab your dinner! Great place otherwise!

Nice , convenient, fast . Food is of good quality, fresh. Plenty of vegetables and other ingredients. Definitely better than most places of this caliber. Priced well Lunch specials $10 better eating than fast foods for same or less .
