I feel like we found a hidden gem. I did a lot of research in travel groups before coming to Placencia and no one mentioned Sterling’s but the Valentine’s Day menu was too appealing to consider anywhere else. They delivered and then some! Soup, pasta, steak, lobster, all cooked to perfection. Berry tiramisu light and refreshing to end our rich meal. Even the sweet potato mash and green beans had a little extra. Service was amazing. And price was very fair considering the meal. I missed a picture of the seafood ravioli but it was delicious and looked just as amazing as all the other plates. Don’t sleep on this place.

I think the food was over priced for the value. The steak lacked flavor and the Caesar salad was completely soggy and had way too much dressing. The pineapple juice was delicious. The service was good, and the tables were nicely decorated for the occasion. Also they charge you a service charge, and upon payment ask if you want to tip yet as well.

Fabulous, one of the best steaks I have ever had. Staff were still in training but they were friendly and helpful. The chef visited our table and you could see how much he cared that you enjoyed your meal. I recommend eating here.

Best kept ‘secret’…food was delicious! The specialty cocktail we had, made with a homemade ginger beer is definitely a must order. Service was great! Almira and Carlos were personable and attentive.

We made reservations for an early valentine’s dinner where we would be traveling during that time and was not disappointed at all. We ordered the chateaubriand for two with sides, it was cooked exactly how we asked to perfection.Almira our waitress was very attentive and sociable. She checked on us several times during our meal and Carlos the bartender made us delicious drinks. We topped the evening off with cappuccino and tiramisu and after diner Almira spent time answering our questions about the area of placencia. Over all we would have to rate this a 10/10 dining experience.

There are not enough good things that I can say about this steakhouse. We visited placencia for the first time this weekend and on Friday night we decided to treat ourselves to a great meal at a steakhouse. We ordered the Chateaubriand and the potatoes gratine. The Chateaubriand was perfectly cooked and the demi-glace that came with it? Oh my God! It really pulled all the flavors together. Our wait staff and our chef were absolutely incredible. If you have the chance, you need to visit Sterling’s steakhouse. You will not be sorry. It is a little pricey, but worth every single penny. Don’t deny yourself.

One of, if not THE BEST meal I have ever had in Belize! We had the Chateaubriand and wow, cooked absolutely to perfection. Excellent waitstaff, indoor and outdoor seating. 10 out of 10 experience.
