Went out with some friends. It was not full but service took a while. The food was OK but not memorable. The wagyu burger was good, but not amazing. The cabage salad was a bit wanting in flavor. The mixed grill was very tasty and redeemed the other dishes. Oh, the fries were really good. Not enough reasons to go back.

Great place for a date, family or even a meeting.

The service is the highlight for me.

The staff are professional, excellent and experienced.

The food took me back to Israel and I loved everything.

I highly reccomend the chummus, we loved both the meat and the mushroom options.

My wife loved her crunchy cabbage salad as well.

The falafel comes with some amba which I’m personally crazy about.

The French fries are amazing as well.

My pargit was also incredible.

I highly recommend this restaurant, even if you have to travel to get there.

Sheinkin is one of the most delightful surprises I’ve experienced lately. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this place is all about warm hospitality, great energy, and unforgettable flavors. The service was exceptional – professional, friendly, and genuinely caring.

And the food? Absolutely outstanding. Every dish was a celebration – fresh, perfectly balanced, and full of thoughtful touches that show how much passion goes into the kitchen. You can truly taste the love in every bite.

Another major plus: the restaurant is fully kosher, offering delicious dishes without compromising on quality, creativity, or taste.

The atmosphere is inviting and beautifully designed, striking the perfect balance between stylish and cozy. It’s the kind of place you immediately want to return to.

In short – highly recommended! Whether it’s a date night, dinner with friends, or simply treating yourself to something special, Sheinkin is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Full disclosure I do work here however I brought the fam for dinner as we were celebrating the twins graduations and oh boy its good to know the food and service are as good as everyone says it is. Must mention my server Jaden who was an absolute star.

I came with a mission and that mission was to put hummus, cauliflower tabbouleh, pickles and falafel into pita and make myself my own falafel in pita sammich. So much flavor so much fun.

I finally got a branzino to myself well I did share with the other fish eater in the fam.

The Arayes, Wagyu Burger, Challah Shnitzel didn’t disappoint and we had fries for days. (We dont order salads on the side when eating out!).

Dessert for non dairy was next level. The chocolate mousse has a real chocolatey richness and the Lotus Cheesecake makes for a delicious sharing dessert that gives that sweet hit at the end of a meal.

Kids were all complimentary of the food, the service and the atmosphere and everyone left happy.

This place is BYOB sealed, mevushal as are most places in Teaneck without a liquor license.

Even if I didn’t work here Id be recommending the place.

We had such a great experience here. The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and really enjoyable to sit in.

A special thank you to our waitress Sophia. She gave amazing service and her food recommendations were spot on. You can tell she truly knows the menu and cares that guests enjoy their meal — she wasn’t just recommending randomly, everything she suggested we ended up loving.

Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Great vibe, great staff, amazing food!
The crunchy cabbage salad was my favorite, The combination of flavors in that dish was phenomenal! I also liked that their portions were not overly huge but not very small either, it was the perfect size and we felt very satisfied.
Each and every dish was perfection and we cant wait to be back!

I had to see what all the hype was about so my friends and I went to Sheinkin. I was truly disappointed. From the loud music to the pushy waiter who just wanted us to hurry up and order to the food being brought out for one person . We waited a long time for the food to be served. Although the presentation was nice I can’t say the same about the food. The pargit I ordered was tasty but the lemonade tasted awfully sour. The food was somewhat tasty but not something I would pay so much money for. I think they are more focused on the presentation than the actual food . I do want to give credit for the spicy small platter that tasted good. But over all I give this place a 3. I hope they will turn down the music a bit so we can actually hear ourselves talk. I don’t think I will go back to Sheinkin . It doesn’t give any Tel Aviv vibes . Expect to spend 100+ for a minimal food selection .
