Wish I can give half stars. This place is definitely around a 4.4-4.5/5. If you come here for nothing else, come for the BBQ!!!

Spent about $50 for 2 people for food that was very well portioned. What you’re seeing is Mongolian Beef, Shredded Beef with Onions, and the Lamb Skewers.

I will start with the good. Those Lamb Skewers were extremely flavorful. I would come back just for it. They have a seasoning on the exterior that isn’t too overbearing. For $10 you get about 4 skewers which given the size, works more for an appetizer than a main entree.

The Mongolian beef didn’t blow me away but it was good. The main issue I had was the beef itself was a bit under seasoned to let the Mongolian sauce shine and you can tell when you eat it. However, the sauce pairs very well with the white rice and I enjoyed it in spite of its short comings.

The shredded beef with onions was really good. I preferred it to the Mongolian beef. It has a hint of sweetness that isn’t overpowering and enough spice to balance it out. However, it was the same problem with the Mongolian. I feel like the beef as a base needs to be a bit more seasoned.

As a whole, I really enjoyed the food here and recommend if you’re looking for a nice cozy Chinese BBQ vibe with a pretty interior and good food.

excellent tasting skewers. fast service we got the shrimp, beef, lamb and double cooked pork belly skewers and they were all fantastic. The beef skewers have such an addictive seasoning.

Got Uber Eats delivery. They had pretty significant buy 1, get 1 specials. It was great. They have Chongqing Dry Fried Spicy Chicken and it was exactly what we hoped for. They did not skimp on the Szechuan chili peppercorns either! Other items we got were the Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. Both were very good.

The food tastes authentic and with reasonable portions. Their BBQ sticks were amazing and well worth the price of admission. We also got the egg and corn soup and it was just a tad too sweet. We also got the chicken and pork intestines which had a great kick cooked in an amazing sauce. It’s been a week since I’ve eaten there and I still think about this place haha.

We went to this newly opened Chinese grilled restaurant at around 5 pm. Not at all crowded at that time. The restaurant itself was clean and neat. Overall the food was good, especially their skewers, a bit pricey and understaffed though (only a server serving 10+ people). We tried the bbq lamb, oysters, onion oil noodles, etc. We will probably try their grilled fish next time.

Update: we tried the grilled fish, literally there was only a grilled fish without any sides like potato. I’m not sure if it worth $38.

The food at this restaurant is very good, and the service is relatively fast. The brown sugar glutinous rice cakes are served hot and taste delicious when eaten hot. The spicy lotus root is also served hot and is pretty good, with a slightly sour flavor. One serving of grilled fish is enough for three to four people. The dry pot pig intestines are delicious!

The restaurant requires climbing stairs, which may not be very convenient for people with disabilities.

UPDATES:
Cumin beef is good and tasty but hard to chewing. (Spicy)
I recommend Pork with chestnut! Sweet, fatty but delicious

PF BBQ is absolutely amazing.

The Classic Spicy Grilled Fish was next-level — packed with authentic sichuan flavor, and loaded with add-ins like enoki, potato, and tofu. The Combo B was delicious: lamb, beef, chicken skewers, fish tofu, wings, garlic eggplant all grilled to perfection and full of smoky, spicy goodness.

We also got the Chongqing Spicy Chicken, Sliced Pork with Sizzling Rice, the Walnut Prawns, and the Pulled Noodles. And don’t sleep on the Beef Flatbread! Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

Beautiful interior, staff and food 10/10 experience.

Interior is airy feeling despite the size it looks outside the building. Plenty of space and seating for a small or large group. New renovations and aesthetics are wonderful. Unique and traditional dishes are offered that you cannot find elsewhere locally. Extremely attentive front of house that offers the right balance of check in and private time for your table.

Dishes I got to experience:
>The combo bbq skewer that includes fish tofu (so good), beef, lamb, chicken, and jr pork link sausages. The spice is flavorful and develops to not overwhelm. I can’t even pick a favorite and let me say that the spices are perfect balance.
>Oysters with garlic and vermicelli noodles served in the shell, so delicate and flavorful. Fresh and well shucked.
>triple pepper chicken: the flavor is packed in here because chicken is bone in as opposed to dry chicken breast chunks. Very reminiscent of home cooking. Perfect with the white rice it’s served with.
>braised pork belly! What a treat. Melt in your mouth, and a bonus with whole chestnuts that adds a great texture and taste over the white rice.
>scallion oil noodles are a simple flavorful base side addition and highly recommend (wonderful with your left overs as well)
>the eggplant with garlic and chili was stunning. I enjoy this stand alone out mix with rice.
>dessert rice cakes with concentrated reduction of brown sugar syrup side was a texture I have never had and cannot wait to have again. The rice cakes are fluffy and a crisp outside with airy but chewy inside. Sauce is to be used sparingly as a drizzle or dip.

Y’all, I am not kidding when I say you are doing a disservice to yourself if you don’t run instead of walk to this spot! I will return many times and introduce my family friends and coworkers to this Pittsburgh new staple Asian fusion place.

We are visiting from Chicago and wanted to try out a Korean BBQ restaurant the one we had in mind the wait times was over 2 hours so we quickly googled searched another spot and came across this one. The fried rice was very salty the skewers were way over seasoned and the eggplant had like a pound of garlic on top. Wasn’t what I expected. The waiter was friendly but also the language barrier made it challenging to understand

This is my second time in Pittsburgh. After landing, I was really struggling to find good Chinese food. My last experience was not great, so I was a bit anxious about trying this place my son reserved, PF BBQ House. To my surprise, the Sichuan cuisine here was very authentic, and the skewers were also genuine and delicious. It was fantastic! In total, during our four-day trip, we ended up coming here three times, and I can’t wait to return next time.”
