My Fiancé and I get papa John’s a lot and are there a good bit to pick up doordashes today as I was munching on my cheese pizza (half bacon) a took a bite and pulled a hair out with it there was a hair baked inbetween my cheese and dough.

Went to pick up an order for DoorDash and one of the workers cooking the food was picking his nose and touching the food. But what really blew my mind was when he licked the pizza cutter and continued to cut the pizza. Just be careful guys.

The service is always nice, and the pizza is always delivered on time. I wouldn’t eat it there obviously but the pizza is always great. They’re a little more pricey than other pizza places but the pizza is always worth it. The crust is always great and the cheese and sauce always stay on the slice when you’re eating it. Their bread sticks are also awesome and I really recommend their stuffed crust. The pizza is never greasy too so if you’re looking for quality the extra price is definitely worth it. Plus they always seem to bundle a deal so it seems like the staff isn’t trying to make you pay anything unnecessary which is great.

Called about an order that was getting later and later for delivery. We received no notification of any issues. Was RUDELY told by manager that the previous manager left him with a mess and that he didn’t know where our pizza was. I asked why he didn’t let us know and he basically stated we could cancel if we wanted. I said ok, cancel it and then he hung up on me.

I ordered for delivery on our very snowy day and they couldn’t make it to the house which is totally understandable. But on there app that lets you know if it’s on the way or delivered or whatever said it was delivered. It never was. Sonic called cause I was wondering where my delivered pizza was. They claimed they called. No phone call was ever made. So I’m wondering if I hadn’t of called and just let it go what would of happened with my money that I paid since it was “delivered”. I just feel this was bad business all around. Definitely hope this is not normal business practice for them. I called again to make sure my money was refunded and they were kinda rude. I was polite and respectful and as a customer expect the same.

Visited Altoona and got in late. Most everywhere else was closed so I opted for Papa John’s. Please forgive me as I forget the gentleman’s name who took my delivery order but he was very pleasant, personable and patient with me. I ordered 30 plain chicken poppers with BBQ on the side. 40 minutes (as he said it would be) they arrived. WOW! They were amazing! I’ve had Dominoes and where I live, they are horrible. I’m going to try the Poppa John’s near me. I hope they’re as wonderful. Great Job Altoona Poppa John’s!

Excellent pizza! Arrived into town pretty late after driving through the rain and poor visibility. Called from our hotel and they were very patient through a poor phone connection while we placed order. Pizza arrived in shorter time than promised hot and fresh. Cooked to perfection.
