I’ve had the blackened chicken quesadilla twice now and it’s soooo good. The chicken is cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. I can’t wait to try other things on the menu. If you’re new to Cajun food like me, try the quesadilla. You’ll be glad you did!

Nico’s Cajun Fried Chicken tastes better than KFC, hands down!! My partner had the blackened chicken alfredo bowtie pasta again, and it was delicious as always. I ordered a chicken quesadillia (traditionally, which i thought it would be chicken and cheese) for my daughter, and didnt know it came with tomatoes, peppers and chives on the quesadillia, so my daughter wouldn’t eat it…
I reviewed the menu, didnt say anything about tomatoes, peppers, onions or whatever it was on the sandwich. So I guess my only suggestion is that the menu needs to elaborate whats really in these dishes. So we, as a customer to have the power to withhold these ingredients if need be.

I grew up in carbon hill so it’s so nice to see a restaurant out there. You can tell their food is made with love because it’s sooo delicious. They have such big portions too so you’re definitely getting what you pay for, I got the bourbon chicken rice!

Tried this place for the first time but went in with lower expectations. My understanding is that they were going to be a take out only restaurant but decided to open to eat in as well.
My friend ordered some chicken and rice dish, which she loved. I asked her server what the quesadillas came with and he told me marinara sauce. That was my first hint not to try it. I ordered a burger to be on the safe side. It was a very good burger!
Fries are Frozen fries out of a bag so they were standard.
I was very surprised at the prices, they were way too high for this area!
This place has potential if the owner puts some time into it and advertises maybe to tourists in Logan, otherwise I’m not sure it’s gonna make it.

Had the privilege of being the first customers. Had the Blackened Chicken strips. They weren’t just good. They were exceptionally good. My buddy had the red beans rice and sausage. This was also very good. Had some potato wedges as a side and the only problem with those was the portion was so big I couldn’t finish them. The portions on everything were very generous. The facity was clean and the staff was very friendly. Will be back to try other items on the menu if I have the will power not to get the chicken stips again. The only thing that was missing was a beer with my meal. EDIT: came back two days later. The chicken was still just as good, but the red beans and rice slipped. The owner wasn’t here this time and the service was less good. My buddies less good food was given to another patron and perhaps they rushed the replacement order. The jury is still out on this place.

Had the crawfish etoufee, gator bites(comes with a big side of fries) and the chicken quesadilla. Everything was very hot, tasted great and came out in a timely manner. The food was excellent. Was a bit confused about the service. After setting at a table for about 10 minutes I finally asked another diner if we needed to go to the counter to order. After going to the counter the young man says I was just getting ready to come out to your table. Not sure if they take orders at the table but next time I’ll go straight to the counter. This is a very new restaurant in a bit out of the way place. The food was so good that I can’t wait to try something different on my next visit which may be next weekend. If you like cajun food you should definitely give this place a try.

Hate that I didnt love it.. was expecting and hoping it was better than it was. Got the rasta pasta… Came out chicken only warm and noodles cold, like they just came out the fridge. I asked if it was supposed to be cold(honestly thought maybe it was just the style)…wife got cold rice on her bourbon chicken.. they said it should be hot and asked if we wanted it microwaved. Paid $55 for microwaved dinner.. was honestly hoping for a better experience for something new close to home for dinner.. also want to add tho..a few buddies went for lunch and loved it(maybe just not a dinner spot)

Tried it for the first time this evening after my hunt. It did not disappoint, I asked for their most popular dish. The Blackened chicken with bowtie pasta was amazing, had the wife tried it also and she was impressed. Definitely would recommend this place.
