Outstanding experience, food was delicious, reasonably priced, and excellent customer service. They had great decor and a fast turnaround, even on 4th of July. I initially ordered off their website, only to show up and not have anything ready due their being super busy. No matter, the friendly front desk cashier quickly took my order and I got my whole slab (wet! it means with sauce, not dry) soon enough. Totally hooked on this place, best BBQ in Baltimore for sure. Call ahead for pick up orders; get there early before the cornbread and cobbler run out!

Earnest, new, pleasant sit-down barbeque place on Greenmount in Harwood, with modern dining area in front of counter. The ribs are meaty, tender and mild with outer crust, waiting for the house spicy sauce or sweet mild sauce from outside. The pulled pork was earthy and full of taste and can be had with their “red” cole slaw, which is actually purple cabbage, or regular slaw. A couple tables out on sidewalk roped off with plants. Parking easy in front, not a parked up area, not a busy sidewalk. As a modern real urban barbecue – not that chain – and run by local family, it deserves and earns support. They deliver via Grubhubb, Yulp and Ewber (that last is not recommended by me or them.

Ordered for pick up. I had the ribs (wet) with mac & cheese and potato salad, and my wife had the pit beef sandwich. We also ordered fries and cornbread. First the good… I thought both of the meats were very solid, and the sauce was great. Mac & cheese was pretty good too. The potato salad was average, though the fries and cornbread were both below average. The place looked nice when I picked up the food, and the employees were nice. However, they seemed a bit disorganized, and even though the place was not busy at all, there was confusion over whether they had everything for my order, but after double checking, they told me that everything was there. (In retrospect, I should have opened everything and checked.) When I got home, they had forgotten to give us the sides, so I had to drive back over to get them (they only deliver if you order through Grubhub), meaning the rest of my food was getting cold while I was driving back. I was able to get the sides, but had hoped they would make up for their mistake with a discount or throwing in a free dessert or extra side or something, but they gave me the missing sides with a quick apology and that was that. Most of the food was good, so I may be willing to give them a second chance, but I will not be ordering to go from them again.

Very cool place. Ribs and chicken were both delicious, I’ll have to stop back and try the pulled pork. I thought the cole slaw was bland, but my friend said it had too much celery salt, so I guess the real answer is somewhere in the middle. Greens were pretty good though. Oh, and the homemade pork rinds were fantastic!

I had the 3 bone platter with greens and baked beans…all I can say is I can’t wait to go back the ribs were tender not like some of these spots where you get in a tug of war fight tryna get the meat off the bone. I also had the pulled pork that was ok missing a few things but I’ll buy again as long as they got that Carolina BBQ sauce now that was hitting and to top it off you can buy fresh bags of pork rinds here I was surprised like where can you go and order a bag of BBQ pork rinds fresh out the pot all I’m gonna say is y’all need to try this spot I was really impressed oh and the customer service was on point also

Went here today on a whim with my husband. Staff is friendly and welcoming but the behind the counter scene is chaotic. Ordered a 1/4 chicken, 3 rib bones, potato salad, mac and cheese and corn bread. Took a while for the order to come up (over 10 min). Person getting food to customers seemed overwhelmed and confused as to what was ready, what was not and what food went with which order.
Now to the food itself:
The Good: Meats
The smoked chicken and the ribs were really good. Very tender. Sauce tasted great. Yum!
The Bad: Sides
The mac and cheese was stiff and bland. The potato salad was also bland. There was a hint of celery seed but overall left much to be desired. Couldn’t even finish it.
The Ugly:
1)The cornbread. I so wanted this to be great. Instead it was very dry, hard to swallow. Also lacking in flavor. Another item my husband and I could not finish.
2) The “pit turkey” sandwich. I purposely quoted this item. When my husband ordered this he expected to receive something similar to a pulled chicken or pork sandwich. Instead he received what appeared to be turkey lunch meat with some BBQ sauce added after the fact. He was VERY disappointed.
Overall my review is a 3 for the friendly staff and the quality of the smoked meats. Therefore if we return in the future it will be for those items only. We may try to sausages next time. I hope this review allows the business to improve because I really want this to become a staple in the community.

The food excellent, the service wonderful, it’s easy to get to, they have sweet tea, it’s clean, eat in is available there’s a water cooler available to customers. The whole experience was great. Plan to go back and take others with me.

Portion’s are way to Small
Smokiness excellent, but to dry and sides are horrible and Bland, pound cake way too dry, greens to much sugar. Overall the décor beautiful the music is on time customers service was outstanding… I will not give in I will be back and voice my opinion and hopefully thing will get better…..
