Windsor Inn has a lot of options on its menu to please anyone. Two small plates is a little less than an entree. The mashed potatoes and salad that come with the entrees are very good. If you order an entree, you will have plenty for lunch the next day. We had crab stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes, goat cheese bruschetta, lemon veal, pesto pasta, prosciutto wrapped asparagus, and white pizza. The crab stuffed mushrooms were very good. Across the board, the restaurant uses quite a bit of olive oil. If you plan on sharing small plates, make sure to ask your server if the plate is appropriate for sharing. Some small plates don’t work well as appetizers for more than one. Overall a good value and very well priced.

Celebrated a 40th birthday last night with a party of 8. We had such an amazing time. We ordered 7 different appetizers and every single one was incredible. All the entrees were delicious as well. We could not have been happier. Thank you so much!

The food was great. Flavorful. Quiet and quaint. We came from a funeral across the street at 8:30 and didn’t realize they closed soon. Waitress did not make us feel rushed at all, and we greatly appreciated that.

Not having been to this establishment for years because we’ve moved around a bit, we decided to give it a try since it was the same owner and we loved the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce. The salads were lacking, just sping mix with a dab of dressing and while not on the menu they made the sauce. We won’t get into bread, the filet dinner was luke warm, but the steak was perfectly cooked, and on par, the food was acceptable and perhaps worthy of a return trip. We ordered additional drinks which were forgotten for 20 minutes and the waitress didnt even rush. Unfortunately, there in lied the problem. With black rings around her eyes like a raccoon, or someone who had not slept for two weeks, she had trouble speaking, handed us our salads when she could have walked around the table and set them down, however, I think if she would have tried I think she would have collapsed over the table. I’m not nitpicking but all communication was stange. Odd facial movements, eyes rolling as she was trying to think of deserts or beers on tap and with poor timing on food, we felt very uncomfortable. Then came the bill. Filet with crab was $30.95; lobster $32.95. We got one without seafood, just the prppercorn sauce, but a $5 charge and a $3 charge was added. Meals ened on the menu $0.95, but were charged $0.98. Everything was scribbled so we have no idea what the charges were. Additionally Grey Goose Martinis were $18.95 each which I don’t even think we pay at the Berkshire. Things were so uncomfortable, I felt like I was being served in a lock down treatment center. We didn’t even want to question the bill, we just wanted out. Prior to getting our bill, another couple was seated while waited for our bill. As she came to their table, they stated, “We’re sorry, but the atmosphere is not what we anticipated, so we are leaving.” They even had to repeat it to her. Sadly, the owner should have never let anyone in her condtion serve anyone. Perhaps that’s why there was only one other table and one that walked out with about 4 people at the bar on a Saturday night. When dissatisfied or I don’t agree with the bill I diplomatically question; I didn’t even want to try, we all just wanted to leave. I felt like a quote in a Robin Williams movie, “Sometimes I feel like a psychotic horse running toward a burning barn.” Just strange and unacceptable.

Simply amazing, we absolutely loved, loved, loved it. I’m from the old country and all about home made. Let me tell you everything is home made from the pasta to the pesto including cream sauces. The atmosphere is perfect for anyone or any occasion. Bring your mother, bring your lover or just a brother. I cannot say enough. Enjoying top notch fare and top shelf spirits. Just when I thought I saw it all, the check came and let me tell you, “the price is right is a gross understatement!

Always good. Burger night is great. They have all the regular toppings like lettuce tomato onion but also interesting things like roasted garlic and sauteed hot peppers and capers.
Some great, homemade desserts too!

Very old school type restaurant. Definitely haunted type. The food tasted good and home made. The prices are mid range which is decent. The service was slow but it has that kind of vibe so it tracks. I would honestly probably be back to try different things. Everything was cooked well and the food itself tasted good quality. All in all I would recommend this place to people who want a cosy quiet meal with those classic american ingredients and flavors. I saw some complaints about them not answering emails and… I’m not surprised. We came on a Thursday night and not much is happening so probably just stop on by. We brought our baby who got bored since the food took a while to come and our bill took a while to come too so leave the little ones at home if they can’t sit. Edit: taking away one star bc she lost my credit card but then found it 30 minutes later
