Absolutely excellent! Crazy cork is a lovely place to enjoy a celebration or just a cozy spot to enjoy date night!

I had the pleasure of enjoying my birthday and found the service and quality to be exceptional. Randy was helpful in helping me select some dishes to serve my guests and the servers were helpful in kind in helping with wine selection. They even provided us generous samples to help us make our decisions.

The food was also stellar! The plates were all shareable bites that paired nicely with the wine and felt easy to pass around the large table. The prosciutto wrapped dates stood out as one of my favorites but the flatbreads were a close second. None of the food was too heavy and just felt like the perfect sized plates to keep a drink company!

Can’t wait to return! Thanks, Randy and team for providing a great experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Crazy Cork. They hosted my husband’s Christmas party, and it was fantastic. The side dishes were delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. My husband and I look forward to returning to enjoy your wine selection

We visited for the first time this weekend, and it completely exceeded our expectations. It truly feels like a hidden gem in Oviedo that deserves more recognition. We planned a parents’ night out to enjoy the wine, but we were genuinely impressed by the thoughtfully curated and creative menu. Every dish was outstanding from start to finish.

What truly elevated the evening was the service. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making us feel taken care of the entire night. It was truly a five-star experience all around.

I can’t recommend this spot enough. Whether you’re planning a date night or a group outing, you have an incredible option right here in your backyard.

The Crazy Cork Wine Bar is a fantastic spot for food and wine lovers. This is a true retreat, quiet, cozy, and beautifully designed with cork-lined walls, velvet magenta chairs, and striking artwork by Leanne Laine. It feels intimate and homey.

We have attended two of their wine dinners in June and August, and both were exceptional. Chef Amanda is nothing short of amazing. She previously created outstanding dishes at Cress in DeLand, and her creativity shines at Crazy Cork. Working from a tiny kitchen with just a small electric cooktop, she produces food that dazzles both the eyes and palate. At the June dinner, the scallop crudo was delicate and bright, lifted by citrus and wee bit of heat, while the ricotta gnudi was luxuriously creamy with a lemony freshness. The porchetta was melt-in-your-mouth, balanced by sweet and savory duck fat raisins. At the August Spanish dinner, the pulpo was tender with a smoky char, the clams brought the essence of the sea enriched by saffron and tomato, and the chorizo paired savory spice with the sweetness of golden raisins. The wine pairings were equally thoughtful, including a boutique still Xarel-lo rose, a grape I had only ever seen used in Cava, which was unique and memorable. Each course from both of these dinners was elevated by wines that ranged from crisp Prosecco to structured Barolo, juicy Garnacha, and decadent Pedro Ximenez sherry.

The regular menu is also excellent. Their wine list spans both old world and new world wines. The whipped feta dip is tangy and creamy, especially satisfying when spread on the warm, toasted focaccia. The eggplant in the eggplant arrabbiata is tender with fresh mozzarella, parmesan, and a tomato-basil sauce that delivers just the right kick. The baked goat cheese and artichoke dip is rich and earthy, brightened by preserved lemon emulsion and a crunchy sunflower seed crumble. The combination of goat cheese and artichoke is just brilliant. Each dish is tapas-sized, perfect for sharing and pairing with wine.

The staff is another reason Crazy Cork stands out. Eddie and Sean are both knowledgeable sommeliers who know their stuff and can recommend excellent selections. Their passion for wine comes through in every interaction, and they make the experience feel personal. Eddie once even surprised us with complimentary tickets to a local comedy show, which was such a generous gesture. At the Italian wine dinner, Caitlin, a distributor, went out of her way to share contact information for a winery in Sardinia, Italy. When we visited the winery in August having mentioned her company, we were given the royal treatment!

What makes Crazy Cork special is not only the food and wine but the overall experience. The setting is intimate, the service is warm, and you leave feeling like you have had a truly memorable night out. Chef Amanda’s passion and creativity come through in every dish.

For couples or anyone who loves scratch-made food paired with carefully chosen wines, this place is a must. We cannot wait to see what future dinners hold!

Food was perfect for a foodie.
Wine was perfect for a connoisseur.
Atmosphere was good, but not cozy.
I think they could have done a better job with wine descriptions, but maybe not a problem for people who know their wines.

My wife and I decided to go here for dinner on the spur of the moment on a Saturday evening. Had no trouble getting a reservation which I later considered surprising. The interior is a small space with seating for about 35, mostly at high tables. The menu is fairly small and consists of tapas sized selections and several flatbreads. I ordered the meatballs with polenta and my wife had the escargot, both of which were delicious. Neither of us knows much about wine, so we followed expert advice from Randy and had an excellent Chianti. Wine is certainly the focus but beer is also available. Dessert was a peppermint pots du creme while my wife had chocolate lava cake, fresh baked so that took about 15 minutes to prepare. The pots du creme had terrific flavor but the crushed peppermint candy bits interfered with the otherwise excellent texture. The lava cake was great with a delicate crispy exterior and creamy chocolate center. Service was attentive and Randy took time to tell us about the restaurant and make wine recommendations. Oviedo has needed a somewhat elevated dining experience and now we have it. Oviedo, please show them some love!

An absolute Gem right here in Oviedo on the Park…a truly impressive number of wines (low to high depending on your budget), delicious food and small platters, wonderful atmosphere (cozy inside, and a nice outside patio as well)…perfect for a date night or simply stopping by to unwind. I hope my neighbors will stop by and support this place…it’s a real delight right here in our own back yard. Happy Saturday, Mark

P.S. Pictured is freshly made mozzarella cheese with a crisp baguette…wine and cheese are bffs 🙂

Great spot for couples or adults seeking great wine and table fare. We came here on Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful meal with great service. Every plate was savory and delicious. The wine paring recommended by Eddie (our waiter) was spot on. Our oldest will be attending UCF in the fall and this will be a MUST visit every time we are in town. Short rib, pork belly, and chorizo flatbread plates were phenomenal.
