We love chinese food but oh my, we were very disappointed to come to this restaurant. Sweet and sour chicken was absolutely terrible. Mongolian beef steak had only 5 very thin and small slicrs of beef, the plate wad just filled with onions and other vegetables. It should have been called Mongolian Vegetable. And lastly, their fried rice beef is awful. We have never been in a chinese restaurant as terrible as Chinese Garden in Coeur D’Alane. Do not come here!

Echen is the nicest guy, he’s there like 12 hours a day working his cute little butt off. He’s friendly as is the rest of the staff, and the food is fantastic.
Highly recommend the ginger beef, general tao’s chicken, and the crab rangoons!

this restaurant is the best for chinese food!! if you’re looking for american chinese this is it !! the manager/cook(echen) has been putting out delicious foodies for many many years, and has had employees stick by his side for many many years (myself included) ..

The food wasn’t that bad. Definitely not the best, but it was still pretty tasty. It’s kind of a shady-looking place, which doesn’t mean much – I mean, it’s CDA, you’re not going to get mugged. The service was as good as it could be – it seemed like there was only one guy working, and thankfully there were only two tables when I went in. He took our orders and cooked it as fast as one person could, but they could probably get away with another person for those off times.
