Ate here for the first time with friends. The service was stellar, our waiter visited to check up on us at the best times possible, didn’t hover and let us take our time between appetizers, entrees, and dessert. And the food we ordered was delicious. The meatballs (a favorite of mine) were served in a cast iron pan, smothered with gooey cheese and sauce, to die for. The steak frites dish was amazing as well. All of our meals were cooked to perfection – the vegetables and salmon in the himalayan red rice bowl were so flavorful. Plenty of food to go with our yummy drinks. The new menu is out, and served in both restaurants at the Queensbury Hotel. I will be back, for sure. I want to go when the igloos are out this winter! Dessert was the daily creme brulee and a slice of cheescake. The flatbread was the best I have had – and I’ve ordered a lot of flatbread! Crispy crust, just enough cheese and sauce. The pepperoni was the cherry on top! We went home with doggie bags.

We had lunch here and the food was delicious. The service was great. Prices were competitive. We ate in one of the outdoor domes/igloo and that was cool as well.

Kasey the bartender is awesome. Makes me a perfect drink every time. Quiet and classy spot. Food is amazing. The burger and the alla vodka is to die for. Flavorful and perfect portions. Presentation of food is carefully crafted. If you want a nice place to wat where you can dress up a bit this quaint spot is for you.

Hello,

I’m writing to share feedback regarding my recent lunch experience in one of your outdoor igloos.

Upon entering, it was immediately noticeable that snow had not been cleared from the top of the igloo. With the sun overhead, water was actively dripping inside, which made the environment uncomfortable from the start.

When our drinks were delivered, the waitress was unfortunately put in a position where she was set up to fail. She was carrying a full tray with no assistance from other staff and had to unzip the igloo entrance herself. As the entrance flap fell back, it struck the tray, causing a glass of wine to fall and spill on the floor. At the same time, a full glass of Stella Artois spilled into my purse and shattered. As a result, my purse and gloves were ruined.

The waitress was extremely apologetic, and I want to be clear that I do not place blame on her. However, it did not appear that the extent of the damage was fully realized. No manager stopped by to check on us, and there was no offer to comp the drinks or otherwise acknowledge the situation.

Overall, the lack of follow-up and accountability was very disappointing and significantly detracted from what should have been a special dining experience. I hope this feedback is helpful in preventing similar situations in the future.

Excellent choice for quick good tasting food. Not top quality food for breakfast but the service is for sure. Prices are way more then fair for breakfast. Pancakes u must try. Nice setup inside and calm ! Good setting for a single or couple’s breakfast for sure.

The same menu as The Fenimore. Indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is only $3/cup. The french fries were remarkable one day and ordinary another day. Oysters were delicious. Reuben was delicious (could have had more sauerkraut). Batter fried mozzarella sticks were decent. 1/2 lb. meatball was delicious. The 1/2 lb. hamburger was delicious. Our waiter and waitress were pleasant. We enjoyed live piano playing happening in the hotel lobby (Thursday).

I dined here with a companion the same evening a bad storm had just hit town. I was staying at the Queensbury Hotel. Part of the region was without power. Fortunately, downtown Glens Falls still had electricity. The restaurants downtown got swamped with customers and were completely at capacity, with long waiting lists of hungry folks who had no power at home. Park 26, located inside the very same hotel at which I was staying, however, had plenty of available tables. It was half-empty! What good luck, we thought! Unfortunately, the hostess kept trying to turn us away without explicitly telling us to leave. She kept trying to avoid seating us, simply walking away at times and acting busy. She also told us how if we chose to eat there, we’d spend far too much time waiting for our food. She even tried to convince us to go to the other hotel restaurant. Fortunately, the couple behind us told us not to do that, as the other hotel restaurant truly was overwhelmed to the point that any table that wasn’t full was otherwise covered in dirty dishes. Seeing as how our options were limited and we were hungry, we stuck around and managed to maintain a cheerful attitude despite the situation. The hostess succeeded in getting others to turn around, but finally gave in to our patience after close to half an hour and seated us, scowling as she did so. A lovely server soon came over to our table. She was so sweet and friendly! She told us that it was more hectic than they were prepared for, but she and the kitchen would do their best. She did great! And so did the kitchen. The food was delicious! I’m glad we stuck around. But, I can’t get past how unpleasant the hostess was and how badly she wanted us to leave. She was even unpleasant on our way out. Anyhow, this is a nice restaurant with good food. If you’re staying at the hotel and don’t mind risking an unpleasant hostess, this may be a good option for you.

The restaurant was lovely, great decor, nice ambiance, but cold! It was a very cold night, so crank up the heat! I wore my coat the entire dinner. Out waitress, Rachel, was fantastic. Best part of our meal. I ordered the $40 filet. Sadly disappointed. It did not come with a salad. The filet was the size of a large piece of kabob meat. It was overcooked – not worth $40. The mashed potatoes were very good and the asparagus was okay. My husband had the salmon. He said it was okay. There were two dining igloos and that would have been fun, but it was -7⁰ and it cost an additional $25! No thanks. My husband and I were visiting family, so it is unlikely that we will return to Park 26. My family members, who live in the area, said they would not return. Sorry, I would have loved to have given a 5 star review, but it didn’t live up to its prices!
