Outstanding Peruvian food. I asked the kind Peruvian man what he recommended and it was a traditional bowl with rice, steak and fries and it was absolutely delicious. The flavor was unique and I highly recommend it. I’ll definitely be back to try the burrito next time!

10/10 would recommend, their lomo saltado was delicious!! Their maracuya drink tasted like childhood to me and they even had some yummy wine & beer. Priced super fairly and for a well sized portion of food. Always great to support a local family owned business!!

I tried the chicken bowl with a side salad and French fries. The chicken was very flavorful, and I enjoyed dipping the fries into the avocado lime ranch sauce. My fav item from here was the passion fruit drink (not pictured).

Really tasty saltao! The chicha morada and passion fruit juice were both great drinks to have along with the food. Got a bowl with chicken, fries, and quinoa, a bowl with steak, rice, and fries, and a side of beans. The beans were a surprising standout, very delicious and comforting. The fries soak up the juices from the meat, along with some of the sauces you add, and you end up with a great meal. Will definitely be back!
The space is definitely a fast casual concept, so it’d be good for grabbing takeout at lunch or for dinner. I sat at the restaurant and it is nice but definitely on the casual side.

Few restaurants leave me with such a strong first impression and have me coming back for more. Merka Saltado is one of those rare gems. The energy and care from the staff, the flavorful food, generous portions, and warm ambiance constantly stick out. The chicken burrito with spicy mayo(not too spicy) and the lomo saltado bowl are must try’s. The meats are tender and packed with flavor. If you like spicy, don’t forget to add some of their signature green sauce.

Approachable and Authentic. Their Peruvian flavors are an excellent addition to Downtown Culver City. Quick and easy too, with great Kids Menu options. Healthy decisions from the restaurant are always appreciated: Air Fried French Fries in Olive Oil. Makes me feel like they care about us! Hot Honey Chicken dish was solid and the frozen Pisco Sour was a fun addition. Will be back.

Aww sad – I had expectations with this restaurant. I got a burrito and a bowl but the portions were small, meat pretty small portions, it had a good taste. The lady was a bit rude – I will suggest as a Latina could be more welcoming – I love all the decor and ambiance
