We were in town unexpectedly and looking for something close to our hotel. We chose Christy’s for this reason and because we read they sometimes had karaoke. We showed up and while there wasn’t karaoke, the jukebox was full of fun music, the place was incredibly clean, and the service was excellent. Jamie was our bartender and she made us feel welcome AND safe. She ensured we enjoyed our impromptu girls’ night and pretty much took us under her wing for the night. If we ever make it back this way, we will definitely be back to this bar!!! Thank you, Jamie! We had a blast!

First place that flet like home since moving here. Also having my go-to beer is a major plus. Not many bars around here carry Michelob Amberbock. Nice patio too! EDIT: went back tonight for karaoke. The crowd was amazing and Brandi recognized me and memorized my drink. Friendly locals and yeah dude, this bar has me. I’ll be back!

Unprofessional and unkind to musicians, while claiming to be a live music venue. I will certainly never be spending my money there. Given how they treat artists, I can’t imagine their patrons are receiving quality service. Having said that, I’ve never actually been to this no-name dive, as I’ve heard nothing but bad things from everyone I know that has.

Well well well. The Infamous huge live music bar of the year, Christy’s place. What were you guys thinking, the way you treat your musicians? All I have ever heard about this place is how bad they are to work with. Shame on us for thinking we could get some positive results from your place. I bet that gig money you backed out on seems like a better investment than having one of your managers bully some kids and catching this backlash. Best of luck to your gambling parlor cause you are definitely done with music round here.

Good place to go for a night cap. It can be slow and relaxing, or it can be hopping and loud. Friendly bartenders, decent specials, outdoor smoking area, and video poker machines. I would consider this to be sort of a dive bar, but nothing wrong with that at all. Lots of dives in the area and this one doesn’t have the typical creve coeur riff-raff that you get elsewhere.

My mom likes everyone and she even said, “They’re hillbilly idiots basically”. I haven’t personally visited, but I never will now that I know how they treat the musicians they book then cancel unjustly.
