I love eating Asian food. It’s so delicious. This place is pretty good. The service is okay The price is okay and they do have a lot to choose from. I like that they cook it right there fresh. As soon as you fill up your bowl if you decide to get a bowl you can choose between noodles and rice which is awesome then they cook it for you so that’s pretty cool and they have different types of meat to choose from. You can pick your own spices and what flavors you’d like for them to put on it so that’s a plus and they also have lots of veggies to pick from so if you don’t eat meat that’s good too

We came for the lunch special and got to make our own bowls with the chefs. We picked out the base, vegetables, protein, and choice of seasonings and they make it fresh on the griddle. There were so many choices we wish we’d done the unlimited option to keep trying them. The concept of the restaurant is really cool and the warm staff members plus thoughtful ambiance all made the experience really special. We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this restaurant , what a gem in Dothan , the food fresh delicious nothing better than yourself choose what you would like to eat the bowls cost $15.99 and there is a good selection of meat and vegetables u can get , the sushi are big I bought 3 rolls and could not eat all they are so good really so good, each roll is starting &11.99 and up , I really hope that they can keep this restaurant the way it started because Ooka sushi at the beginning was amazing and now is horrible. Please to the manager keep this place exactly as it is always yummy sushi and very good service.

Is there anything phenomenal and outter-wordly about Yummy Bowl? I’d say, no. But is it worth the trip? Absolutely!
I’ve been twice now and will happily go back. I get the Philadelphia roll and yummy bowl. Once seated, you get a smaller sized bowl and a card to mark what kind of rice you’d like, a spot for your name and table number. You then take that $14 bowl up to the counter and get in line.
You stuff that small bowl with as much veggies and meat it can hold! Or just as much as you want. You work your way down and they have plenty of options of veggies, even waterchestnuts, and then a good selection of meat. Shrimp, beef, chicken, chicken thighs, crab, and squid/octopus legs .
From there you can select your dry seasonings (like seasonal all, garlic powder, etc) and then select from a large variety of sauces. They do limit you to 2 sauces though. After you’ve selected everything, they take it and cook it on the giant round hibachi table in the middle od the restaurant, while you head back to you table.
For the sushi roll, it is good! You can go to other similar restaurants and get a similar quality roll, but for $5-6 its very worth it. And the bowl! After its cooked, they send it back in a bigger, red bowl. What was once overflowing in your small bowl, now looks like you hardly picked enough food out. But taste wise it is good as well! What’s nice is you do have more control over the flavoring, since you pick your own seasonings and sauces, but they cook it to perfection.
I gave it 4 stars as there isn’t anything overwhelming different than a couple other similar places to eat. It can get a bit loud too when it’s full of people. I’ll definitely go back as it’s reasonably priced, the service is fast, and the food is good.

I came during the soft opening. The staff immediately welcomed me. Everybody was super friendly. It was my first time at a Yummy Bowl, so I wasn’t sure how everything worked. However, the staff took time to talk and walk me through everything. Once the food came out, it was honestly delicious. I built my own bowl and I also got two sushi rolls to try, the King Kong Roll and the Sunset Roll. The rolls were enormous and filled with flavor. The bowl was incredibly delicious! Can’t wait to come back again! The staff even took the time to interact with my child.

Tried Yummy Bowl in Dothan for the first time today, and it definitely won’t be the last. The prices are great, the ingredients are fresh, and the staff is super friendly. One of the coolest parts is that you build your own bowl exactly how you want it, and they cook it right in front of you. Everything came out hot, seasoned perfectly, and packed with flavor.
Overall, an awesome first visit and a spot I’ll be coming back to for sure. Highly recommend!

I went with a friend today and had a great lunch. I didn’t try any sushi, but I did have a bowl for the bar and it was fantastic. It was over-seasoned, but you put the seasoning on it, so thats my fault. Being able to go through and pick everything in your bowl is very convenient and cuts down on a lot of back and forth with a server. Talking about the service, our waiter was great. He was very attentive, but not so much so that it was bothersome. My tea was only empty once, and that wasn’t his fault, because I drink fast. I strongly recommend giving Yummy Bowl a try!
