Service was amazing Kim was so gracious and kind. There were some holes in the menu. Thanks supply chain 🙁 but kim helped us figure out alternatives. Great creamy coleslaw good potato salad ribs were delicious! Try the pulled pork in a wrap! Ordered the mango daiquiri as well very sweet but good as a starter drink or for someone with a sweet tooth. We will be back!

All rib lovers know that pork ribs are supposed to be wet and beef are supposed to be dry. So I ordered some pork ribs which we’re dry. They did not have any rub or sauce. I took one bite of the ribs and I don’t know if it was an off day but mine were not good at all. The wings were OK but a little overpriced. The macaroni and cheese was good. The barbecue beans were just plain with nothing in them. The greens were good. The Ruben was OK seem like I can maybe make one at my house and a little thin.

4.5 if Google would allow it.

South Florida Style Chicken and Ribs has been on my list since early 2021. My son planned to go to MU and I knew someday I would be able to give it a try. In 2018 Gearld and his family moved to Columbia when his son was recruited by the Tigers. At that time he started a food truck with his family and coined his secret spice South Florida Style. That love for great flavor lives on strong in his resturant even in the drinks!

I had to try anything that ended with Southern Florida Style so I started with the lemonade and ahhhh let me tell you it was fantastic! It was a mix between lemon, limes and heaven.

Between us we had grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, French fries, and breaded chicken straps. Ever single bite had amazing flavor and was not over cooked or dry like is normal in southern food.

The entire staff treated us like family and we were honored to tell them that we will be back soon!

This place is awesome! The dinning area is clean and the staff are amazing. They have big screen TV’s and a jukebox. Food was very good and the portions were just right. Definitely coming here again! Took just a few pictures because I did not want to catch customers in the shots

Visiting Columbia for an event. Was looking for some good eats. Read the reviews and wanted to give this place a try.
The staff was very friendly. The food was good for the most part. My son enjoyed his ribs. The baked beans were different from any he’s ever had so not sure he enjoyed them much. The fish was hot and fresh and phenomenal! The greens were hot and good and even better after I added hot sauce to them (I was disappointed there was no cornbread to go with them. I was told cornbread is served on Sundays only). Maybe management could re-consider serving or adding cornbread to the menu on a regular basis. What’s collard greens without cornbread?
The Mac & cheese was creamy but bland so I didn’t care much for it and our Texas toast was cold and chewy.
Overall it was a good experience. If I ever return to Columbia I will go back there and try the fried chicken.
Oh and my son really enjoyed the Florida sauce. I tasted a little and it was a really good sauce

Simple but great food! Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are a little high for the food. Went to lunch with a friend and lunch for 2 was $37. Also there was no appetizer menu. That’s not a negative thing, I just found it odd.

Amazing taste, amazing quality,
Along with amazing team that treats you like friends and serves hospitality and some of your favorite dishes.
Can’t happen to get away from the Collard Greens, Mac, and Tenders. Sheesh. And a side of the south Florida sauce!
You are doing quite alright after that, can’t forget Brisket, ribs, seafood, and pasta as well. With great specials throughout the week and youll definitely have to follow with a desert jar!
Check them out for sure.
Passing through or live in town they got you covered for dinner!

South Florida Style Chicken and Ribs is straight up incredible food. Everything they make is delicious, however, the ribs and fried fish are so dang good. Plus, they are super nice.

Had the chicken quarter (leg and thigh), mac & cheese and coleslaw. Ordered from their mobile restaurant and everything was delicious. Probably the best grilled chicken I’ve ever ordered. Certainly worth the price. Oh, and the staff was very nice and the service was quick.

Absolutely delicious! Fish was amazing, cooked just perfectly, no “fishy” taste. Love homemade fries! Didn’t get my hot sauce, but that’s ok. I look forward to trying their black eyed peas!
