this is literally the best banh mi spot in sunset. don’t listen to any of the bad reviews. the house special banh mi is so good, not the biggest but size don’t matter.

Use to be good but this will be my last time. The sandwich had no meat. 1 slice and some sauce and veggies. Very sad sandwich for $9.

4.2/5 BBQ Banh Mi ($10)– generously filled with the house BBQ pork, loved the sweet and sour bite from the pickled daikon and carrots with the brightness of the cilantro! Highly recommend getting your bun extra toasted !

Delicious Banh mi. I had the #1 and #6, with no spicy. Very tasty. Chicken was a little bit less tasty because it did not have the sauce, but still really good. Very small place, no seating at all, just take out. Bread was warm and crispy… Very good.

Been occasionally eating from here for years. Price keeps going up with inflation but the amount of meat and vegetables have also been going down to the point it’s noticeable it’s the first thing you notice. Even the cucumber slices are 40% shorter.

I grew up around 8 ave and used to love this place. But now I can say I am really disappointed at this store. The sandwich price went up to 8 dollars which I will be fine with if the quality stays the same. However, the filling has become 1/4 of what it uses to be. That bread to filling ratio is just pathetic. I went back multiple times thinking maybe they just messed up once. But every time I end up with such a sad sandwich. You should not be raising price and decreasing in the quality on your food. I will never come back to this place again, and people should really avoid this place and actually support small business that cares for customer and what they serve. I would give this place a negative score if possible.
Update: walked by on 4/15/2024 and out of curiosity went in to see if maybe they change for the better. Lol nope. Price went up again and just when i thought the filling cannot get smaller, they did. Wow. At this rate, maybe in a couple year I can get a piece of just the bread for like 15 bucks. If people actually crave bahmi, I would suggest walking down to 42nd st 8 ave and get bahmi at Ba Xuyên.

They take cash only and there’s no dine in.
I usually get the #1 (Bánh Mì).
You have the option of whether you want to get spicy or not. These sandwiches taste soooo good!! After you order, you wait outside till it’s ready. Overall, no complaints and tasty food.

I came here to try out their Banh Mi sandwiches and have to say it is pretty decent. I just wish these sandwiches had more stuffing, vegetables and meat for the price; $8 vs $7 in other stores.

This is my go to place for viet sandwiches. I usually get their number 1 sandwich which has the pork and the hams in it with spicy. Their sandwiches include the meats, parsley, pickled carots/turnips, and cucumber in a crispy baguette.
They raised the price within the past year (I believe…) so now their regular sandwiches are $6 and then their number 3 sandwich (with full pork) is $7.
The shop inside isnt very big so usually people order stuff the sandwiches to go… they also have a number of snacks and products to buy inside too. U can also get coffees and other drinks here too.

My fav place for their bbq pork banh mi. Priced at $9(now, use to be $8). Very delicious.
Service is bad but dont argue w mans he’ll get you right, most of the time(except he’ll sometimes forget you ordered jalapeños in your sandwich, or that your order is ready lol)
