So, typical small town dive bar, bartender was friendly, fellow patrons were mostly alright, if you are not a regular, you will probably stick out, such as when some lady at the end of the bar started to call out my facial appearance. Beer was cold, as I progressed through the depths of the beer lineup, some of the lesser served beers were maybe a few months past best by date, or maybe even missing a label altogether… but the Busch Light was fresh and cold. If I were traveling through Buckner again, and just really had to have a beer, I might stop in again.

Great food. Big portions. Good prices. Keep in mind it is a tavern and that smoking is allowed. It is on the smaller side, but you can see a TV wherever you sit.

Love love love the food! We always get take home and the order is ALWAYS right and always extremely good! Dang good comfort food, Nice portions too. My favorite sandwich since high school has been the Rueben, and theirs is excellent. The tenderloin is also excellent. Haven’t ever been disappointed. Keep up the good work and we’ll keep coming back!!!
