We just had the most delightful dinner and service. It was an unexpected stop and it was wonderful. The salmon is excellent. And the carrot cake is one of the best we’ve ever had and my husband and I are always on a search for good carrot cake. I highly recommend! Courtney was an amazing server. It was my husband‘s birthday, and she took excellent care of us.

Nice night out. The trout was cooked well, the rice was seasoned well and the asparagus was tender. The steak was good but the Worcestershire sauce it was seasoned with overpowered the crab. The crab on its own was good and the potato was done nicely. The berry cheesecake was great and fruit very good. My Irish coffee went great with it. There was live music tonight and they seem to be a house favorite. Our service was great, it’s a nice local spot.

Id like to call out Danielle, she was fantastic. We had a party of 20-25 people? Or so? She was by herself. She was super accommodating, friendly and observant. My only drawback was the food quality compared to pricing, a little too expensive. Atmosphere was fantastic, im a sucker for history.

Food is outstanding. From starter to main, the food is excellent. Chips and Queso feature freshly deep fried fluffy chips and an elevated cheese dip that is very good. Bruschetta is good and the balsamic reduction is worth dipping your bread in for an extra bite. For main course find a way to get the sweet potato fries and the twice baked potato. Very cute location with history and ambience. Service is very good when they are trying, with good recommendations and patience, but sometimes they disappear.

The food was really good. Large portions and very flavorful. My salmon was perfectly cooked. My sister is vegetarian and loved her wrap and asparagus. My brother in law enjoyed his steak and said it was very flavorful. My son had meaty lamb chops lollipops and they were tasty and tender. Overall, this was a great place for dinner. I’ll definitely be back.

Only bad thing, it’s cold in the booth, the vent was right beneath the seating.

Very lowkey restaurant with good food. It was our first time here, and we went on Valentine’s Day. I loved that our waitress let us get a crab cake for an appetizer even though the crab cakes were usually doubled for an entree. I got the salmon with oven roasted carrots, which were delicious. My boyfriend for the pork chop with the twice baked potato. Food was good & came out quickly! Service was great, our drinks were always filled. I feel like for the price, there are definitely better places to go. But I love trying new places!

I love this place! The atmosphere in the cold winter months is wonderful. The upstairs is like stepping into history with the beautiful bar, fireplace and wood work. The food was awesome. We had the brussels sprouts for an appetizer (best sprouts in the city bar none!). I had the French Dip, my husband had the BLT and our friends had the crab cakes and 1/2 chicken. We were all extremely pleased with the taste, quality and portions. I can’t wait to go back for the brussels sprouts appetizer and try another entree!

We had a company event on December 5 in the Glendale Room. We had 23 people in attendance. Our food was delicious. The room set up was perfectly. The best part was how well Brandy took care of us to make sure our drinks were full and everyone was enjoying themselves. We will be back! Thank you Meritage for a wonderful evening! – VK
