If you want a chill place to play pool without the college scene this is the bar for you! I love it. I don’t get hit on. The atmosphere is super laid back. Great bar tenders. She even made my drink that she’s never made PERFECTLY. Deff a go to spot for me now.

Hot Shots has a quaint atmosphere and a lovely outside area to smoke and socialize. There are four pool tables and a full-sized poker table with cards and tokens for anyone to use. The patrons and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable in their duties. There is an opportunity to do karaoke, and I enjoy hanging out here with my friends for a beer with the boys.

Loud, gritty, not too bright but overall a very enjoyable evening catching up with a friend. Beer prices were great and there was karaoke, unexpected on a Thursday night. It was what we were looking for and we had fun.

Awesome place had an absolute blast. Really need to work on a better way to have sign ups for karaoke. If the board is full out of towners will think everyone before them on the list has already sang. Beliving I was helping out and making room for other people I was harrassed and felt like I had to leave. Other wise amazing, highly suggest going.

I enjoy the DJ on karaoke night is an absolute delight and down to earth on each Saturday everyone is nice there to be honest and i can’t complain about the drinks the bartender is very attentive and always has a smile

This place is very country. Beers are crazy cheap, bartenders are concerningly attentive. Pool tables are decent, though not intimate. This is not a high end leather couch type of place, despite being close to some hotels. Bartenders will be semi friendly, but they’ll be busy and u fending not pc comments from customers.
Clientele involves mother/daughter, father/son groups, military men, local workmen and retiries.

Great local bar with friendly staff and patrons. With pool tables, a juke box, and a karaoke set up, Hot Shots is conveniently accessible to nearby hotels in McArthur Drive. An ideal place to spend the evening and get an ambiance of central Louisiana.
