We stayed in fountain city, at an Airbnb, way up a windy steep driveway and had to park in town on the street. After walking around town , we stopped in at Ole Joe’s, had more than a few , and met the owner Jeff. He was great, after learning of the steep windy walk we had, he actually gave us a ride back . We offered to pay him and he refused. The next afternoon we stopped back in , hoping to thank him again, only to learn we hadn’t paid our tab from the previous night. Embarrassed, we paid and asked the bartender to thank Jeff for us. Thanks Jeff and staff for putting up with us outta staters!!! We will definitely be back.
