Who’da thunk it?! This little pizza shop in Algier’s points looks pretty ordinary…no jazzy signs or red carpet type entrance…just a pizza place. Nope. Not just a pizzeria…Nighthawk is legit the best pizza I have ever had. Like, ever. And I’ve had a lot over the years at various places. We got the supreme and the pics don’t do it justice. The crust is light and crispy. The sauce is simple and not overwhelming. The cheese to topping ratio is perfection. The supreme has pickled peppers on it and lemme tell ya…game. changer. My sister got the margherita which looks amazing as well but I’m not a basil lover. I stopped to tell the chef (yes, that man is a chef!) how amazing his creation was. We visit here often and this will be on my list!

Tonight on 10/4/25 I ordered a 16” New Haven pepperoni pizza for pick up and was given a 13” pepperoni pizza in a 16” box.
I went inside and asked the counter if this was correct as it looked way too small for a 16” and pizza shouldn’t be shifting in the pizza box like a toy. I opened the box and upon looking at the pizza the young lady in the front in told me yes.
Came home and measured the pizza to confirm my suspicions. I paid for a large and was given a small/regular.
Disappointed by the deception!

I’ve been on a sourdough kick as of late and this establishment did not disappoint. As you walk in and see that beautiful view of New Orleans across the river, and you see that beautiful pizza oven as you walk in, you know your in for a treat. Me and my bud started off with mozzarella sticks, and the marinara sauce was fire. The Neapolitan style pizza with the traditional tomato sauce is so good! My buddy is an pepperoni enthusiast and he really loved it. The bubbles on the crust, the texture, the right combination of crust and sauce, all outstanding! The Salciccia was a new Poblano sauce experience for me. It was kind of pesto like, and paired so perfectly with the Italian sausage and Taleggio cheese. New Orleans has become the premier pizza city of the south. And one of the best anywhere period! Nola proud, this place rocks!

Super impressed. Ordered the Caesar salad, beet salad, arancini, Fay Belle pizza, Hot Boi pizza and chocolate budino for dessert. All delicious and spot-on crust for stated Napoletana style. Oh how I love the spots of crusty flame-licked black charred spots on the top outer crust! Fay Belle was my favorite and the slice I had left was nearly as good the next morning for breakfast! One thing to note- they don’t accept cash- which is fine, I 100% support a private business to make their own decisions on how they conduct business. Just kinda think there should be a sign somewhere (on the door, chalkboard specials sign out front, on the menu- online or physical). Maybe I missed it. Slim possibility because I was so excited to go to this place, I thoroughly researched ahead of time by studying the menu online and reading dozens of google reviews. Not a problem, I was paying with a card anyway but in my experience, when the shoe is on the other foot and the restaurant/business is “cash only” there’s signs EVERYWHERE. Still had a great experience and the food was fantastic and I really enjoyed the one beer they had on tap (they’re new). Can’t wait to go back!

Delicious food that doesn’t keep you waiting for too long. The vibe is a neighborhood place that welcomes you with a warm hug. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The food came out hot and was so delicious. Ordered their special which was pasta with their amazing meatballs. The meatballs are seasoned so well and have a nice little spicy kick to them. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza that was HOT when it came to our table. The crust was perfection. If you have a big appetite, I suggest you order more than one pizza because you won’t want to stop eating!

Went there for the first time today and we got treated as if we were part of the family. Pizza was amazing, as it should be when cooking in a brick oven.
Meatballs appetizer was great and the crispy rice balls with cheese and tomatoes sauce was a great new experience.

Fun place for a cold beer and pizza. Nighthawk located in Algiers Point is a hidden gem on the West Bank of New Orleans. We had a salad and pizza. Excellent service and great atmosphere!

Two of our party of 5 decided to start with splitting a chopped salad off the specials menu. It was oh so delicious and large enough for all of our party (3 are large men) to have a small serving. We all loved the Fun Guy Pizza until we tasted the Supreme (also on the specials menu). It was fantastic! I found myself craving it while eating it. And my aperol spritz was the best I’ve ever had. Service was lovely and attentive. Only complaint was how warm it was inside but it’s late June so I imagine the air conditioner was getting a work out. We visit New Orleans several times a year and Nighthawk will definitely be a must-visit going forward. Outstanding job, y’all!!

We were recommended this place as best Neapolitan style pizza in New Orleans. We were not expecting the rest of the menu to be exceptional. Rice balls were phenomenal, the desert pudding is worth going back for.
