My wife and I visited Agave Cantina for our anniversary, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The steak carne asada was outstanding—perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and paired with a slightly spicy, flavorful sauce that elevated the dish. The tacos were equally impressive, and the drinks were well-made.

One of the highlights was their extensive tequila selection. While I ordered some harder-to-find options, our server went out of her way to ensure I got exactly what I wanted, served over a perfect large ice cube. The level of service was top-notch—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming.

Despite being a Tuesday night, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and intimate. Agave Cantina is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates great food, quality drinks, and exceptional service. Let’s keep this place thriving—it deserves it!

Amazing service, amazing food and atmosphere

Gabby the server was knowledgeable and very nice. She helped me pick something close to fajitas since they don’t have that on menu. I got the chicken bowl with extra tortillas and it was tasty

Casa Agave has a great look—I’ll give it that. The decor is vibrant, the art is beautiful, and it really feels like a fun, cozy spot to grab dinner. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to the aesthetics.

I ordered the carne asada and specifically asked for it without jalapeños, yet it came out overly spicy and still loaded with heat. The flavors were overpowering and not balanced at all. My wife ordered the shredded pork, and it was honestly a mess—over-seasoned and lacking any real depth of flavor. The empanada was about a 2/5, the Mexican corn was underwhelming, and the chicharrones (or “chi-ronis” as listed) were a complete fail—tasted like they were coated in generic store-bought seasoning.

The margarita flight was another disappointment. The concept was fun, but the execution was poor. Their house tequila overwhelmed every flavor in the flight—whether it was coconut or ginger, it was all just tequila with no nuance.

I was also surprised to see Italian and American items randomly scattered across a menu that claims to be authentic Mexican. It’s confusing and feels more like a college-town fusion diner than a thoughtfully curated dining experience.

The only things I genuinely liked were the mac & cheese (yes, that was good), the presentation of the carne asada, and our waitress—she was incredibly sweet and attentive.

Overall, I think Casa Agave might work for college students looking for an affordable night out with some flair, but for a foodie or anyone looking for true Mexican cuisine, this isn’t the place. One star—for the service and decor.

Seriously an amazing place. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was great. The food was so divine! There are so many options. Everything was perfectly seasoned. So many delicious flavor profiles. And the portions were perfect. The Goin’ Coconuts Margarita was sooo goood. And make sure to save room for Churros for dessert. YUM!!! Highly Recommend!!!!

New restaurant in an area that can really use it – Casa Agave is a warm, inviting spot.

Settled in at the bar with a smokey blackberry margarita that showcased some of their interesting tequilas.

The menu isn’t huge, but the items on it are well executed. From the guac & chips, to carnitas soft tacos, ceviche and house made churros for dessert – everything was fire.

We were greeted by the owner, Jim, who couldn’t have been nicer. Service was flawless for their opening night .

The vibe is comfortable, but with attention to details: succulent wall, gorgeous hand cut wood bar, and day of the dead painted men’s and ladies rooms. It all is a welcome addition to the town.

Definitely worth checking out. We will be back for sure!

When I first walked in, I thought I was in the wrong place because it didn’t have any Mexican atmosphere at all. I thought it was a coffee shop with a bar. The service was good, but very disappointed in the margaritas which came in an old-fashioned glass. Really? Where is the traditional stemmed margarita glass? . Very disappointed. And the waitress didn’t know what kind of tequila the house served. She gave the excuse that she was new. The menu was OK. I was in the mood for enchiladas, but they didn’t have them on the menu. I did order the steak asada which was good but rather uninteresting. My friend and I had two margaritas and we split the bill and it came to $104 for two people. I won’t be returning.

We tried this new Mexican restaurant in Bridgewater and it was awesome! The menu is small but the food is delicious. We started with the street corn and salsa & chips! Both were extremely good. I had the brisket tacos and they were beyond my expectations (so good my husband went back this week and had them, a picky eater who ate every bite). My husband had the carne asada which was delicious! The drinks were awesome and the bartender was friendly and made our trip mote pleasurable! Definitely going back, especially since it is close to home.
