Mod cafe serving fair-trade coffee & local & organic American eats, including all-day breakfast.

I would have given them 4 stars, but on my way out I visited the restroom and it was disgusting, filthy. Made my stomach hurt to think I just ate at a place that is this dirty. The young lady who greated me and took my order was very personable, polite and helpful. The coffee tasted great as did my pancakes, but that restroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. I can’t over stress how disgusting it was. Urinal top had thick dust layer on it. Floor was sticky at 8:15.in the morning. Brown water and residue in the corners of the stall and next to the urinal. Filthiest restroom I have ever seen in a food establishment! Place is overdue for a inspection.

I have eaten several times at People’s Organic. This was my recent experience dining on a Sunday morning.
I filled my coffee cup from the coffee in the carafe – it was barely warm. I went back to counter – no one there. Poured out coffee in bathroom and got coffee from different container.
Mentioned warm coffee to worker and she said – that is what happens!
Received my warm oatmeal, tasted husband’s warm quiche.
I want to like this restaurant but I have had these issues before.

I really want to support a restaurant that offers organic healthy food. But they make it so hard! Pickup orders rarely ready on time (pickup time was 5 pm when the place was mostly empty) and food just isn’t cooked well. We ordered sandwiches and both had burned bread. That should be an easy one to get right. On the plus side, they do a good job following special requests (GF, no aioli). With some tweaks, this restaurant could be so much better.

I tried the Classic Quiche Lorraine, The quiche was nicely portioned, flakey crust with eggs, mushrooms, spinach, swiss cheese and bacon. Scored it a (3) due to a flavor leaning towards bland. The potatoes were made perfectly with a fluffy center and nicely seasoned. (5) The green salad was fresh with a savory vinegarette. (5) My Cappuccino was unfortunately ruined due to too much milk (2). The Cinnamon Bun was a nice portion and tasty (4). The idea that they strive to stay organic is a plus anytime.

I spent two nights in Eden Prairie and ate here both days – so if you’re looking for tasty vegan breakfast options, look no further! The food is good, the vibe is laid-back, and the service is great, it’s hard to go wrong .

Definitely would recommend to those who enjoy clean organic green eating. Clean, spacious, and friendly atmosphere. Service was quick and the avocado toast was amazing. Lost a star only because of them being somewhat pricey.

The food is fine. The service is mostly good, but come on. It’s 2025 and your internet doesn’t work? “We’re in an area that does not get Internet”.
Funny, every other coffee shop in Eden Prairie doesn’t have this problem, and that’s where I’ll spend my money from now on.

I’ve been here several times and still have many dishes left to try! There are plenty of great vegetarian options, and I love their food every time.

This is one of my favorite places to stop in on a busy night to get a tasty & healthy meal. The employees are wonderful! They are always accommodating if I want to add or sub proteins or other ingredients & always willing to answer any questions I have or suggest something I should try next time. On super busy nights I take advantage of the pick up window. Coffee options will please any enthusiast. I love that they have clean protein shakes. I recommend the Co-Co Antioxidant. Coconut milk, raspberries, sub in plant-based vanilla chia protein.

Revising review from 5 to 2 to reflect my most recent experience:
Atmosphere is good.
Service on my last visit was very poor. Host was extremely unfriendly.
Very few non-vegetarian options on the menu.
