We had ice cream on a hot sunny day. The ice creams were honestly delicious, especially Mango was excellent. Mango ice cream at other places tasted like sorbet but this one tasted creamy and yummy. I highly recommend it. My kids loved their half baked chocolate and coffee flavors. The waffle cone was great as it was not sugary. Their service was super fast.

It’s nice that there’s a place to get food by the beach on the weekends- but the prices are ridiculously high. Like $8 for a hotdog and small bag of chips. TINY scoop of ice cream is also $8. The teens working there (it seems to always be teens) are really nice, I do wish they would clean the tables off by their stand as they get gross by the end of the day. Overall, it’s more of a pain because my kids can’t go to the beach without walking by stupidly priced ice cream and frozen lemonade.

They only do pizza at weekends, and were out of almost everything. A regular can of soda is $4.50 and a small ice cream, a hot dog and 2 sodas was $22.50. Recommend skipping and pack your own food or pick up something on the way to the lake.

The food is okay, the service is great, the prices are high but it is the only cafe in the park and it is very conveniently located by the Sunset Beach bathrooms and the big playground. Check their Instagram page for the most up to date info (sunsetbeach_cafe). M-F 12pm-8pm. SAT-SUN 11am-8pm.
