If I can give this establishment 0 stars I would. I have never received such poor customer service. I do not recommend this Coldstone location to anyone. I ordered a $50 custom cake a few days ago and this is what I received. Firstly, the worked handed me the bag closed and I just knew something was wrong. I opened it up in the store and I was appalled. The cake was absolutely atrocious. I have never seen something so poorly made in my life. The cake was falling apart in front of me. One piece of Oreo fell down. I have no words for the writing and the ganache and chocolate shavings had missing spots throughout the cake. I have no idea how this is even considered ok.
Secondly, aside from the looks the cake I just want to point out that point did the worker ever apologize or seem any bit empathetic towards my frustration. Can you imagine that you order a cake and now you have to show up to a birthday without one due the fact that you’d be embarrassed to show up with it? We were offered a large cake however the price difference between this and our customer cake was $5. At this point, I was beyond frustrated and simply wanted a refund. The worker said she was UNABLE to provide me a refund without her managers approval. Fine, we waited. The manager did not answer after three tries and at this point we were very late to our event. The worker did not try to resolve this situation whatsoever, we had to ask for the manager to contact us regarding this.
About an hour later, we received a call from the worker and not the manager. The solution they wanted to provide was to give us just a 20% refund and their reasoning was that this was a custom cake. Although I understand this is a custom cake, do you see the cake? In what world would anyone want this? And let alone by $50 for this cake? What a joke.

The ice cream taste great, but I give a one star because the employee scraped so much ice cream and toppings into the trash instead of into my bowl, which was not full as it should have been. I ordered gotta have it sized which is a steep $10.99 I was very disappointed in the amount of ice cream I received and comparison to the amount of ice cream that was scraped into the trash. No wonder the price point is so high because so much of the product is going to waste.!!

Please fix your AC! Not only for your customers but for your employees! We just came from the monrovia store and had the worst experience ever. While opening the door, you can feel the heat and the employees were sweating. The employees looked uncomfortable, miserable and unhappy to be there. No one should be working in these conditions during a heat wave.
On 5/11/25, around 8pm, We ordered 5 ice creams and by the time we got the last one, two were melted. This is completely unacceptable and management needs to resolve this issue asap. Your customers shouldn’t pay $35 for melted ice cream. I expect management to contact me for a full refund.

I ordered a Strawberry Passion icecream cake for my daughters birthday, I substituted sprinkles instead of graham cracker crumble on the outside of the cake and for a Happy birthday to be written on top.
When I went to go pick up the cake, the young man in the front was all by himself with a line of 10 people. He still had a great attitude and was very nice. I waited in line and let him know I was picking up my order, he checked the back and said mybe it was one of the ones in the fridge in the front of the store. None of them was my cake, because none of them had sprinkles or the Happy Birthday I had requested. I told the guy that none of them was my cake and he said Im not sure im sorry. He told me I could take one of the ones that were in the front. About half of them looked freezer burnt with ice all over the lids and all the strawberrys were shriveled. I couldnt believe they were selling them like that since theyre around $60 each. Why confirm the order the day before and then not have it ready did they even make it? I decided not to take one and asked for a refund. Which they werent able to do on the spot because only the manager Mira can authorize it. So now Im out $60 until she authorizes the refund and I have to go see if I can find a birthday cake for my daughter. Good thing Baskin Robins is across the street. ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT. Do not order your cakes at this location!

Two stars only for the service. The a/c is still broken, or turned off. I ordered mint ice cream and it was almost flavorless. The chocolate chips completely over-powered its taste. I got a spoonful that had no chocolate chips so I could actually taste it. I wondered if it was vanilla with green food coloring. No, not vanilla. There was definitely a hint of mint flavor, but it was barely there. If they’re using some mint oils they need to use more. I expected better for $7.95. I was so flavorless I threw most of it away. I have mint leaves at home, I’ll crush them up in an ice water later and have something that ACTUALLY tastes like mint.

A little disappointed came for the brown sugar ice cream and they didn’t have any. The boo batter is supposed to be black and it looks like super brown. The girl was really nice and helpful the location was clean. Some of the ice cream store melted and again disappointed no brown sugar ice cream when is supposed to be a seasonal flavor. Maybe call before you come to see if they have your flavor.

Been coming here for years. This place is supposed to be about getting your ice cream made your way, but I just came from there tonight and the kid working gives me an attitude after I notice he puts one scoop of peanut butter in my peanut butter ice cream. I ordered the biggest quart size and you’re making it like it’s a small. Then, he proceeds to short me on the ice cream that I paid 28 dollars for and doesn’t even fill it up. Then he has the nerve to ask me for a tip! Apparently they have money to do reservations but not to hire someone that takes pride in their work. Owner should check the cameras and watch the workers shorting customers on product. No worries, there’s an ice cream parlor literally right across the street I don’t mind spending at. Pathetic. Look at the photo, do you see any peanut butter or peanut butter cups in my peanut butter cup perfection? I just paid nearly 30 bucks for a quart of chocolate ice cream.

I had a horrible experience and complete waste of time! We went inside the shop the lady behind the counter completely ignored two 5.9 feet tall women and a kid for almost 10 min (Mentioning the height because we were VERY MUCH visible).
After 10 min she looked at us and says I’m busy with an order, I asked her how long, she said another 10 min. Seriously! if you were busy you could have told us earlier so we could leave sooner rather than later. In my opinion, the owner of the franchise does not want business nor care about customers and their employees, at least have two employees to cater the walk in customers if one is busy. Very disappointed!
I would recommend ppl read the reviews first and think twice to go to this store. Never going to this place EVER again!
