Great little dive dar. Very friendly staff and neighborhood locals. It’s a woman owned and neighbor owned bar the bar has been there since 1898 run as Pete’s out in the cold since 1932. On of the best outdoor patios in the city and they have pop-ups to get your food.

Absolutely classic New Orleans locals spot. The people who frequent this fine establishment are like a second family. And I was treated as part of that family from the first time I went there… for a real down home NOLA experience go there on Mondays from 5p-7p for free red beans and rice, friends and family vibe, and stiff pours for cheap prices.

Great neighborhood bar! So welcoming. The jukebox is packed with the must have tunes, bar tenders are friendly and very good and the pop ups they have are always so tasty! If you’re visiting NOLA, check out Pete’s for a true feeling of the Irish Channel neighborhood.

Went last week. They had bingo on Tuesday, but we showed up too late to play. Seems like a great crowd! They had a popup in the side patio and seems like a fun locals bar.

Pete’s Out in the Cold is my favorite bar in the city. Bingo on Thursdays is always a fun time and the proceeds are donated to local nonprofits. They have a bar cat that mostly hangs out on neighborhood porches but sometimes can be seen at Pete’s if you are lucky. We always have great service.

The Pete’s folk are really nice the drinks are cold the atmosphere is friendly and to top it off they have a farmers market with local vendors from 5 to 7:00 on Mondays during happy hr with a very neighborhood vibe. Some of the nicest people I’ve met in New Orleans and they can mix a mean drink as well!

Ps: Don’t skip the red beans n rice

Been there twice. First time was after Iris and Tucks and I fell and scraped my knee and limped there with my friends and the bartender gave my friend a firs aid kit to patch me up. I took a shot of whiskey and left because I was embarrassed about just bleeding all over the place. Second time was last weekend. I went with a friend that’s a regular. The bartender came from the behind the bar and greeted me with a handshake and a smile. Patio was nice and had a grilled cheese pop up. Great vibes. I drinks were fine I had a gin and tonic and the wells gin was exactly what you wan for a g & t.
