High quality food, generous portions and they can modify it for you. I wanted EXTRA spice and they delivered beautifully! They can make things completely mild too, but still delicious. The service is always kind and quick! One of my go-to Indian spots (especially to grab and go)

I want to preface this with saying the staff here are so lovely and they have a lovely food truck and a great store. With that being said, I was very excited to try this place and have had it saved on my list for a while. We got the butter chicken, chilli chicken, and a vegetable pakora dish (I forgot the name).
The butter chicken was so bland. I mean it had absolutely no flavor and the chicken was very dry.
The chilli chicken was fine. It had better flavor and had a fantastic spice. It was still not something I would go back for but it was enjoyed.
The vegetable pakora curry had a tasty sourness too it and was very creamy. It was tasty and whilst still not something I would go back for, it was still good.
Additionally, we were told our wait would be about 20-25 minutes and we waited a full hour for our food :/
Overall, I was quite disappointed. I feel like this place has very good reviews and I don’t believe they fully reflect the true quality of this place.
We did try this in winter and I do realise that food trucks are far more popular in summer so perhaps I will give it another shot sometime then.

This is a delightful place to have authentic Indian food is home-made style, prepared by a gifted housewife. The food is served in the colorful outdoor space under the trees. The food was the best we have had in a long time. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. We’re happy to have found this place and will be back again and again.

Beautiful place with homely food. Mutter paneer, chhole (garbanzo beans) and kadhee pakoda all were good. All dishes come with the side of yellow rice and salad. Portions are huge.
There are benches for outdoor seating. Nicely decorated place and colorful flowers around.

An amazing spot to get authentic Indian food. I’ve tried a lot of Indian food over the years and this one is hands down one of my favorites. Great flavor prepared by such a nice and generous woman. She let me sample what I was getting and make sure the spice level was to my preference and then adjusted things as we talked about it. By far a must eat place if you’re feeling adventurous or just love Indian food like I do!

So if you are in to trying something new, definitely try this place. It is one of my favorite places to go not only for the food but for the owner too she makes you feel so welcomed. She puts love into every dish Me and my wife and our kids come up here. She knows us by name and ask us every time about our kids. She is one of my favorite people. She is so genuine and caring. We truly love her. We don’t even order off the menu. We tell her what type of stuff we would like and she makes a special dish and every time we’ve done that she has nailed it. I truly recommend this place. She has became a staple in our life so let’s give a big shout out !!!!!

Have tried the butter chicken, chicken curry, and samosa chat and all were delicious. The butter chicken here is different from others I’ve had- much less cream and more salty, savory, and heavily spiced. Honestly tasted a lot like the chicken curry with the addition of a small bit of cream. As others have reviewed, it is more watery than usual restaurant butter chicken, but they say they are more home-style Indian, and I really like that. They certainly don’t shy away from the seasonings. Total flavor explosions.
The rice is fantastic as well, and the entrees came with a little dish of chopped veggies that were a perfect complement.
The samosa chat was almost drowning in flavor – i felt like it could use some sort of plain crunchy topping to help balance it out, but it’s still yummy as is too.
Great price for lots of food, and it’s organic! This may be my new favorite Indian place in Eugene, particularly for value.
My husband and I can share one entree with some naan and we are full and content.
Update: tried the aloo tiki and it was kind of plain. Had samosas again and they were even better than I remembered. Go for the samosas !!!

We were looking for good East Indian food going through Eugene on a Saturday afternoon. Stopped at Authentic Indian Food, and I’m do glad we did. There was quite a line ahead of us, but the service is fast and so friendly. And the curry is amazing!! We’ll be back on our next trip to Eugene.
