What a great experience! Went out for my birthday last night. Service was top notch. Food was great. We did the full experience from appetizers to desert so little pricey but expected and well worth it. The Black and White Crème Brûlèe just might change your life. The service staff really strives to make a perfect evening.

Classy bistro restaurant with great view of Swan lake! Appies were decent and we really liked arctic char as main. It was perfectly done and risotto that came with was delicious. Overall foods were hearty and well seasoned.

Had a great experience here. Food was spot on. Service was friendly with very informed waiters with good suggestions to help you choose to your own tastes. All the food was good, but the pork chop was the best of the lot for us. I wanted to try dessert but was too full.
The entry up narrow hall stairs does not present very well. Tables separated by curtains also does not present too well. So overall atmosphere is ok. It is not like the main Intermezzo.
Food price is what you expect to have an actual chef make your food. And that is where Intermezzo shines. Such great food. Friend got me to try Escargot Casino… and I really liked it.

We’ve been to the downtown location a few times, so we thought we’d give this one a try! Parking was a little confusing at first, there were only about four or five designated spots, and they were all taken, so we weren’t sure where else to park. The entry area could also use a bit of love, it felt a little plain and not well lit with the small signage and its light brown walls and simple layout.
Once we got to the restaurant, though, wow! The space was elegant and intimate, and we had a lovely table by the window. We started with the escargot and Mediterranean bread, both were delicious! My husband and I had the lamb with mint sauce, which was amazing, and our friend ordered the filet mignon. Everyone was really happy with their meals, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

The service was exceptional and the food was mouth watering and soooo delicious. Had the Cajun prawns for an appetizer. Main courses were Filet Mignon (done to perfection and melt in your mouth) and Pollo Italiano Linguini (fabulous flavor).

Intermezzo Castle was my 194th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.
Today my parents and I visited this location. My mom ate her first ever filet mignon ever.
I ate escargot, bruschetta, rose wine, chocolate decadence, and iced tea for $60 CAD after tax and tip.
We came during happy hour from 4pm-5pm. We were the first customers for the day so we were seated at the table by the window with a view of Swan Lake.
My parents ate filet mignon, complimentary bread, cheesecake, sorbet, and risotto. Every dish was a home run.
I highly recommend this spot.

We love Intermezzo so were excited to try the Bistro at the Castle! We’ve gone here twice for special occasions and had a great experience. Wonderful food – love knowing they made the gnocchi there and great service, especially enjoyed the Spanish saffron prawns! They’ve also added a few more non-alcoholic beverage/mocktail options to the menu which is great!

Food was excellent second time. Our pasta different from downtown intermezzo. Meat ball being the favorite. Unfortunately they were out of many starters, and the med bread ratios were off. Atmosphere is slightly different and cute with a reduced menu.

Service was fabulous. Burnt lamb, yes we did not complain but it was a special celebration and he didn’t want to ruin the small moments we have. Our expectation was from the other location had one of the best he had ever had.
I hope my review can change over time. A nice location and beautiful people.
