For drinks my party got an island mule which was a bit strong for my liking. The mahalo which was okay not my thing. And pina colada shake that was very good and flavorful. For appys we got Hawaiian nachos with chicken, coconut shrimp with pinapple salsa and mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was horrible. At first It tasted like a lighter version of movie theatre cheese at but then gets bland and flavorless. The nachos were probably the best appy but even then it was not the best. The chicken didn’t taste good either. I didn’t try the shrimp but my in laws said it was the best appy that we had. For entrees we got 2 alphas, 2 mainland, and coco burgers. They did not check in how the burgers were or how we liked them cooked. My family was VERY disappointed. The burgers had no seasoning or flavor for the mainland. The coco my bf was not a fan of. My inlaws were disappointed as well. The staff was kind. The atmosphere had good music. Also the fries sucked. We did not like them. For the price we payed it was overpriced. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This place was TO DIE for!! The interior was such a calm beach vibe and the staff was very kind and helpful. I ordered a hot dog with their Kahuna Fries, and it came fairly quickly. The price was alright for what I got, around 15$. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a casual lunch/dinner spot by the sea!

Not bad! The buns add a lot of sweetness to the burger, I do wish the meat was seasoned a little heavier to cut through the sweetness for the Kahuna Classic. The Dragon was much better in terms of balance.

After a long day at the beach, we came to this restaurant, me and my friends, possibly some of the worst service I’ve ever been served at a food establishment before. The onion rings, subpar, the burger, dry, and pathetic, and they wouldn’t even let us take the food that took over 20 minutes with nobody in the restaurant to get and they wouldn’t let us sit at a table. This is the most disgraceful burger restaurant I’ve ever been to on God in my life do better kahuna burger.

Came here with hubby for a casual Friday dinner, and the burgers were great. I recommend the coco burger that has coconut, really yummy!

Great location, upbeat and welcoming atmosphere, and enough choices to keep things interesting without being overwhelming. Definitely a casual and comfortable vibe which suits the beach setting. Delicious Mahi Mahi with an equally sumptuous cocktail.

It’s a cute casual restaurant. Prices were very reasonable especially for the shore and the service was very nice and fast. The food portions were very generous and I left full with leftovers for later!

Great food and the atmosphere is nice but some of servers are not very pleasant. We were ignored when we came in, except for a young Spanish young lady. She was helpful. Plus they pushed us out as soon as we finished our food. Not nice

Unwelcoming Experience Despite Decent Food.
We recently visited this restaurant with the intention of ordering food to go, as we planned to enjoy our meal at the beach. Traveling with a toddler, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and this was one of those times. After receiving our takeout order, our son wanted to stay in the restaurant a bit longer, so my husband was starving and decided to start his burger there.
Unfortunately, a young woman approached us and asked us to leave, stating that we couldn’t eat our takeout in the restaurant. My husband, who was polite throughout, simply asked why, to which she replied dismissively that it was just a restaurant rule. We didn’t want to make a fuss, so we prepared to leave. However, another woman, much kinder, told us it was fine and that we could stay.
So, what was this supposed rule that could be so easily bent a minute later? It seems there wasn’t a real rule at all, just a convenient request made by someone who didn’t want us there.
It’s worth noting that we had paid for the service and the place was almost empty, yet we were made to feel unwelcome. I now understand why this place has a 3.5 rating. While the food was fine, I cannot recommend this place based on our experience. We felt singled out and treated with unnecessary inconsistency.
