Cute casual place with authentic food! Very affordable, with great portions. The ingredients were very fresh & everything super-tasty! The presentation, even for my take-out flautas was very nice. The service was great and also fast! Fun atmosphere with chill Mexican music.

Got and order of the birria tacos and chicken quesadillas. The meat was not cut it was in chunks, it taste like chili. Tortilla was soggy not toasty. The chicken from the quesadilla taste like frozen also it didn’t have seasoning and it was dry, the tortilla was soggy. For the price of $28 not worth it. I couldn’t finish it Food was disappointing

The food was incredible, the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Very quaint. I’d recommend the pastor tacos and asada burrito. The only caveat is that it took a while for the food to be cooked, but it’s okay. I’ll definitely be back.

I truly feel like this is a hidden gem! Upon walking in it had a very feel-good atmosphere, beautiful decor and good music playing; I was extremely suprised it was empty and thought it might’ve just been bc of the holiday. When the food arrived it smelled yummy! I started with the charro beans and to my suprise they had a VERY nice spice, the birria was cheesy and flavorful, and dont get me started on the salsa verde 10/10!! I was so happy to find this place and rest assured I will be back if youre hesitant to try, PLEASE give this restraunt a shot, I can guarantee you wont regret it!!

Great little establishment if you are looking to try some enchiladas norteños or yummy frijoles a la charra! There was only one person when I picked up my food. The gentleman was extremely friendly and patient when I called my order in. He said my order would be ready in 10 minutes. 8 minutes after calling my order was ready! I order a late lunch at about 3p.
The food! The enchiladas are yummy! They were a little on the dry side, but yummy nonetheless. The potatoes & carrots were nicely seasoned. I would have preferred salt and pepper seasoning only, but tasty enough. Nicely browned! The beans were very tasty and nicely seasoned! All the seasonings were well-balanced! The avocado salsa is delicious. I am sure the salsa would be a great compliment to the street tacos! Overall, I enjoyed the meal. I will be returning and trying the street tacos.

The street tacos were delicious, thank you to the cook!!! I live close to Taco Norteno and my daughter and I stopped by there when we saw a bunch of vehicles in the parking lot. We had been waiting for it to open!!! We loved the way the restaurant was decorated and then when the girl behind the counter offered to take our order, she was so friendly and explained the menu items to us. After we ordered, we sat down to wait for our ‘to go’ street tacos. Our eyes were busy looking at all the decorations on the wall. It wasn’t long, possibly a minute or less, and our bag with our tacos was handed to us and we left. Thank you for the friendly service and the great tacos. We will definitely be back. FYI, there is no drive-thru so you must go in to place your order.

I’m going to give my honest experience and opinion. (I did try to call them when I got home but no one picked up the phone.) I Walked in last night to pick up dinner for my daughter and I, and it was my first time there. The atmosphere was really cute. Everything was clean and decorated nice and it smelled good. You order your food at the counter and they put a tip recommendation on the screen when you pay which I thought was strange because you order at the counter and they give you a buzzer and when your food is ready, you go pick your food up from the counter and give them back the little buzzer thing. So why are you wanting a tip? When I go to a restaurant, I always tip well to my server, but you aren’t getting a server there. When you go to the counter at Canes and stand there and wait for your food to take home, they don’t ask for a tip. They also have a limited menu. The prices are a little high for what you get. They do not have any chips so no chips and guacamole or chips and salsa. I got the street tacos. I got the Al Pastor for my daughter and the Carne Asada for myself. I specifically asked more than twice that I needed the onions grilled well because the raw onions bother our stomachs. I got home with the food and I open up the containers and both of us had Raw onion on our greasy tacos. So I had to take all of the onion off and cook it myself in a frying pan. Then I put the now cold greasy tacos back together. I added a little cheese and I started eating and I couldn’t believe how much I couldn’t chew and had to spit out. There was so much hard fatty gristle that was inedible. I spit out enough to make a whole other taco. I was very disappointed in the quality of the Carne Asada. And my daughter’s Pastor tacos had some hard gristle fat, but not as bad as mine. The green sauce was delicious. I do feel like I wasted my money. Oh and we got a cup of charro beans that came in the order, and there were hardly any beans whatsoever in there. There was just a lot of big pieces of pork fat, tomatoes and spicy salty water. I think I only got one small spoonful of beans. Hopefully they get better but I won’t be back. I’m going to stick to the 2 places that I usually get Mexican food from

I have been eyeing this restaurant’s grand opening for several months yesterday we finally saw it had opened and immediately had to try it out! We ordered the mini tacos, enchiladas and the birria ramen along with an horchata and melon agua fresca. Every single item was top tier, including their homemade avocado salsa, it tasted very authentic to other “Mexican” restaurants around here. We were very impressed with the quality, prices, and service. I already know we’re are going to be regulars here & sooo happy it’s close to home. GIVE THIS PLACE A CHANCE I PROMISE YOU’LL LOVE IT AND RETURN!!
