We both got steaks but you simply have to get the Cowboy ribeye! Comes out sizzling on a cast iron. So good. The shrimp, corn and crab soup was also very tasty.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at Lagniappe Steak and Seafood Restaurant. The atmosphere is elegant yet very casual. The decor is nicely appointed and fun. Our food was very good, especially the blooming onion. The sizzling apple pie a la mode is also delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We will eat here again.

We decided to take a look and it was worth it. It wasn’t busy because of the LSU game so that was a plus for us, our waitresses Ariana was so sweet polite and on point with the recommendation. We had the fried mushrooms was perfect my husband had the seafood plate and added 1 fried soft shell crap I had the stuff reddish with the steam vegetable so good. Everything was fresh hot and well seasoned and not salty. We got a chance to meet one of the owners Andy or Adam (sorry forgot) All in all we will be back to try the crab fingers and steak. Oh we took our dessert to go fried cheese cake, a must try.

My first time here. Really enjoyed the NOLA blues and jazz on the speakers. Pace of service was laid back and relaxed; yet never seemed long. I ordered stuffed redfish and glazed Brussels- they were the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Manager Anais spoke with me briefly to ask how I enjoyed the meal. Server Jaira was spot on. I can’t wait to come back!

My bf and I came here for the first time, and I’m glad we did!
I have been trying to find a fried seafood spot that didn’t use the gritty corn meal fish-fry coating, and this place does whatever they do to perfection.
The half and half meal of fish and shrimp was awesome!
My boyfriend had the Grilled Chicken Lite meal with smothered potatoes, and he was satisfied.
Our waitress was awesome and attentive.
The manager was nice, too. She opened the door for patrons, and she checked to see how things were with the dining.

Lagniappe is a reminder to me that there are still business owners who are proud of their product and work hard to assure their customer’s experience is as good as it can be. First impressions are everything to a customer. The restaurant was very nicely laid out, and the decor was semi dressy but warm and inviting. I was greeted by the owner upon entering and seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. I had a cup of gumbo, and it was really tasty with a lot of ingredients. The potato balls were an interesting play on a twice stuffed bake potato. I wasn’t sure if I would like it, but it was really good with the included sour cream. The house dressing that came with my salad was tangy and sweet. Best chicken fried steak I’ve had in BR, I ordered it with a side of smothered potatoes, also came with french bread. The potatoes were a throwback to my grandmother’s kitchen and really surprised me to see it on someone’s menu. For dessert, I finished with the sizzling pecan pie with ice cream. Straight FIYA. This sweet surprise is worth a try by itself. Thanks for a great experience, Lagniappe.

My husband took me here for Valentine’s Day. The staff was pleasant and even though they were busy, our food came out timely. We got stuffed mushrooms to start, delicious. We both got steaks but you simply have to get the Cowboy ribeye! Comes out sizzling on a cast iron. So good. The shrimp, corn and crab soup was also very tasty. If you go for dessert, you have to get the apple pie which also comes out sizzling on a cast iron!

The food and OWNERS ARE AMAZING!!! The service is spectacular. There is a classy yet comfortable feeling. The stuffed red fish, any steak and tips, smothered potatoes, crab cakes, crab fingers and even the salads will never leave you disappointed!! I’ve finally found a restaurant that makes me want to try everything on the menu!!! I’m so happy this jewel of a restaurant is on Bluebonnet now!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! We went here to celebrate a family member’s birthday. We waited for over an hour to be told that the restaurant could not accommodate our party. Initially we were told that half of our guests needed to be present to be seated. As we waited, we watched multiple parties being seated that didn’t quite look like us. I was taken aback because I only heard good things about this establishment, but to be treated so rudely and discriminatory, I felt compelled to leave this review. I am hoping that this was just a misunderstanding at that Lagniappe Steak and Seafood treats ALL customers with respect and fairness.
