I eat a lot of ramen across the country and Nagoya is arguably the best ramen I’ve had! The tonkatsu is so rich, thick, and deep in flavor. Their buns have insanely tender pork belly that is truly perfect. The steak in their hibachi is crunchy but moist with the perfect sauce. Overall, this is the best hibachi / ramen in the area, by far! Go try it!

We ordered take out and picked it up. The atmosphere is great. Everything tastes authentic and fresh. We ordered hibachi and a bunch of things, but you don’t have to spend much to get a lot of food.

I ordered the house salad, fried chicken buns, and the shio broth with GF noodles and tofu. I rounded this out with a Sapporo beer. From time to entering the restaurant to eating was less than 15 min. Great service, excellent food, and it won’t break the bank. I am so happy to have found this gem. Owner says they opened about 6 months ago; I hope they stay. We just got a house in the area and this was a great find. Plan to be a regular and work my way through the menu.

It was my first time there. It was a nice calm setting. Visually appealing and the food and service was equally good.

Love the food is 10/10. Absolutely mind blowing in flavor and great pricing for such nice
Atmosphere is clean, well kept and quiet. I like the decoration, but not a lot of “private” seating.
⏱️For such good food the time it takes to prepare is Very Long. If you’re in a rush I’d go elsewhere if u have at least 1 hour to burn its a great spot.

Easily the best ramen in Memphis, and one of my favorites from anywhere I’ve been! Their tonkatsu ramen is delicious and is a very healthy serving for about as much as a Big Mac meal! The broth is filling and rich and and their tonkatsu pork is tender and flavorful, like pork adobo. If I could, I would have this everyday.

The restaurant is well-themed, comfortable, and conveniently located in the great neighborhood of Cooper-Young. The owners run the shop extremely well! The service is quick, friendly, and authentic. The owners are incredibly nice. They always remember my wife and I and have been so generous to us and other repeat customers!

If you live in Midtown and you haven’t been here, you have to try it. This will be a Midtown anchor and dining pillar like Mulan was. For anyone else, this is totally worth a trip to eat. Nothing else will hit the spot quite like their ramen once you’ve tried it.

Maggie and company are some of the most wonderful restaurateurs in midtown, if not Memphis. The food never disappoints. We are always welcomed with warmth and smiles. The donburi bowls are our favorites. The ramen is yummy. All with a local CooperYoung feel.

We arrived on a rainy evening and had a tough time finding parking nearby. Once inside, we kicked off the meal with braised pork bao, while some friends opted for the pork belly version—both turned out to be solid choices.

The ramen menu, however, was a bit of a puzzle, offering little in the way of descriptions. I went with the Nagoya ramen, topped with pork chashu and the three listed toppings. Unfortunately, the broth—made from chicken—was far too light, lacking the richness and depth I was hoping for. Overall, the experience felt a bit underwhelming. The hibachi dinner that my husband opted was decent, like a regular one, but nothing remarkable.
