We believe that coffee is more than just a cup of Joe. Coffee is loved and enjoyed by so many all over the globe, for some people like ourselves, the first cup of coffee in the morning is what we depend on to set our day up on the right path. But more importantly, coffee connects our past to present, our childhood memories and the people we cross path with. We believe that making great coffee with integrity requires more than just coffee and espresso machine. Making great coffee require gratitude and patience. As small business owners we understand the obstacles and challenges we face daily, practicing gratitude allows us to maintain the balance of life and work, good days and bad days.

Consider this review my apology letter to Lowell. We moved here 2.5 years ago and I was aware of Nibbana Cafe. It was always on my radar, never went. Now we’re moving and I wish I had come sooner.

It has everything I want. Good coffee, good food, spacious, and tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. There’s only one way to get to it so there’s little traffic and the people that come here do so intentionally. There’s no shortage of guests; I visited on a late Tuesday morning and only a few tables were open and the Cafe had plenty of visitors.

I ordered a latte and a hot ham and cheese croissant. Both very good, though I would’ve loved some spicy mustard on the sandwich. The lady working the counter was so sweet and welcoming.

The Cafe, accessible at ground level, is a small part of a very large building that hosts 5 floors of individual art studios. Though most aren’t open, there’s plenty to see. Grab a coffee and walk around.

We’ll be back before we say goodbye to Lowell ✌️

It is a boutique and family owned cafe and a place for community gathering for continue meetings and events including local noon profits, civic organizations, or meeting place for friends and family. It is located in the same complex knowned as Western Ave Studio in #LowellMA. They offer a variety of specially coffees just like Starbucks but with reasonable price and with love. Please check it out if you are in the area.

One of my happy places. A great selection of fantastic drinks, and so much more than just the usual “not technically a regular mocha” selections (my favorites are the black cardamom latte, and the coconut-flavored kafe doung). Yummy food selections as well, including sandwiches and pastries.

Immigrant-owned business with a helpful and friendly staff, offering access to learning and community resources.

Also, it’s in the Western Ave building, which is filled with artist studios, which means fantastic views and vibes while sitting in the cafe with friends, or by yourself. But please don’t sit in my favorite seat, if you get there before me 😉

One of the best additions to Lowell! I wouldn’t hesitate to give both locations more than 5 stars if I could. This place has been around for a while and the consistency is there across both locations. The owners and baristas are super friendly and you get the community feeling in this coffee shop. If you go to the Western Ave one, take advantage of all the small shops and art studio there.

You can’t go wrong with any drink on their menu, just know it’s going to be high quality made with love from the baristas.

A unique Viet café with good vibes and solid drinks.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast, and the place had a charming book café feel inside a repurposed warehouse-turned-marketplace—kind of gave me Pike Place Market vibes.

The Ordinary sandwich (SEC on an English muffin) was just that—decent, but nothing special. The Vietnamese coffee, though, was excellent. Perfectly sweet and just like what I’ve had in Hanoi.

5 star urban oasis! The staff are wonderfully friendly. The indoor ambience embedded in the art scene is enlightening and unique. I especially enjoyed the Cambodian musical instrument educational display of late. Now that it’s warm out, the outdoor seating is plentiful, shady in the AM, and the gardens are a diverse blend of herbs, palms, and pops of color, all beautifully maintained.

Was visiting Lowell for a show at the Taffeta last night and came across this gem of a coffee shop. The baristas were super friendly! Great choices for breakfast foods and a large variety of handcrafted drinks. The Forbidden sandwich and breakfast nuggets were a perfect meal before the show. Can’t wait to come back!
