I was in the area and was looking for a quick lunch and I found Big Band Boba & Chicken. I believe it’s a fairly new place. When I first arrived there was no customers and no one at the front counter. There are a few tables if you want any to dine-in, but I chose take-out. They have an ordering kiosk or if you want order with someone, you can ring the bell and someone will come out to take your order. While I was waiting for my order there were quite a few people that came through.

I ordered the Korean Classic Fried Chicken, Soy Garlic Fried Chicken and the Popcorn Chicken. This trip, I did not order and drinks, so I cannot review the drinks. The chicken were still crispy as they should be, even after I brought it home in Vacaville. Flavor was mediocre as I have had better Korean Fried Chicken and elsewhere. They also sell a few other Korean snack items satisfy your hunger.

Overall, Big Bang Boba & Chicken is a decent place for some KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), Korean snack items and grabbing some Boba/Tea/Smoothie Drinks.

I usually love this local boba spot — their matcha strawberry and watermelon drinks are always on point! But I have to be honest… the avocado smoothie was a big letdown. It looked super bland, had no real avocado flavor, and even had pieces of avocado skin still in it. It didn’t taste fresh at all and felt rushed. I really hope they improve the recipe, because I know they can do better based on how amazing their other drinks are!

Chicken was super good they cook it to order so I waited about 10-15 minutes. I ordered the creme brulee drink and they provide a tiny spoon for the top 🙂 the boba was fresh as well and had a nice soft chew.

The chicken fingers were pretty good! The octopus balls were totally gross…I ate 1 and tossed the rest. The place is very oddly decorated and sad. But I get it…it’s a young people’s place and they may not care.
The boba teas looked tasty and they were churning them out like crazy. I would get the chicken again…and maybe try a tea next time.

Exceeded my expectations of a boba house. Boba drinks are exotically delicious. Chicken flavor was on point and cooked to perfection. Hole in the wall but pricey. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff are friendly. Ice cream and popsicles are on the menu as well.

First time coming here last week and was glad I did. Walking in everything was clean, as soon as you walked in to your right was Clorox wipes on top of the garbage bin that they provide. It was a self service place so you self order and check out and they start working on it- once done they call out your number. We didn’t wait long (there was only 1 customer there at the time) we ordered two snacks and two drinks. The topping on the drinks and the drinks overall were delicious, the wings were pretty big and filling. I can’t wait to return!

Drinks we liked: Caramel créme brûlée brown sugar latte & Chocolate cookie puff cream.

Wings I tried and liked: Thai chili wings.

I love finding unique boba spots that does a little more than the average chain. Delicious flavors. Options of oat milk, salted cheese foam, light ice, less sugar. Delicious snacks too.

Friendly service. The minus is it’s a tad difficult to order from the only self checkout device there if you’re new. Card only no cash. Ordered the classic black with oat milk, caramel brûlée, strawberry matcha latte and coffee cloud and a cheese dog. Such an amazing treat. None disappointed. All food is made to order.

A few of us came here yesterday afternoon after being stuck in traffic on a 5 hour drive from King’s Beach up in Lake Tahoe. Located in a plaza, the storefront can be described as any other sort of boba shop, only this one has a few tables for you to enjoy your boba and Korean fried chicken of choice!

We ordered a few drinks and got the cheese honey and salt and pepper chicken wings.

Drinks:

1. Strawberry Matcha Latte w/ oat milk – tasted pretty average compared to Boba Guys. I thought the oat milk overpowered the rest of the drink but it was still not bad. It probably would have tasted better with fresh milk. (3.5/5)

2. Brown Sugar Pearl Latte – this one was tasty! The boba was still warm with the brown sugar syrup and it basically tasted like those brown sugar boba bars. (5/5)

3. Strawberry Banana Milk – this is the one I got personally because I wanted something fruity, creamy, and refreshing. Strawberry milk with chunks of strawberries and bananas is the best way to describe it. So simple yet so delicious. (5/5)

Wings:

1. Salt & Pepper – I was expecting these to be like the ones you get at Chinese restaurants that come stir fried with jalapeños and onions, but it came with some Parmesan cheese instead. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing either. (4/5)

2. Cheese Honey – these were better than I had expected! It had a subtle hint of sweetness and funkiness as if you would get from cheese foam drinks at boba spots. I really enjoyed this one because the natural chicken flavor wasn’t overpowered by this dry rub.

Service was great as well!

I’ll definitely be coming back here after my next snowboarding trip! Definitely recommended for those who want a quick afternoon pick me up.

Nice boba place. I enjoyed my drink. My friends were also satisfied with their drinks. The service is quite friendly and they have quite a nice choice of drinks. I will be back in the future to try a different drink flavor. They have seating here. I also quite like the name Big Bang Boba & Chicken, it’s a nice name.
