We came through Fort Gibson on Natchez Trace bike tour. Best BBQ around, and best service. The ribs were amazing. Beans were the best I’ve ever had. We were staying far off the road and far away from everything for the night, and these guys even arranged dinner delivery for us since we could not get to anything else. Would definitely be back next time I’m on the Trace.

I recently returned to Market St BBQ and, once again, it did not disappoint! Last time, I had the ribs, which were seasoned just right and so tender the meat was falling off the bone. This time, I decided to switch things up and try the catfish plate. Let me tell you, it was seasoned and battered to perfection—absolutely delicious!
Of course, I couldn’t resist adding a rib or two to my order. I mean, it wouldn’t feel right not to! My friends opted for the pork chop and chicken dinner plates, and the portions were generous; we definitely left feeling as full as ticks!
I also took note of the prices this time. They accept debit and credit cards, and the prices are incredibly reasonable—perfect for a family of four looking to enjoy a meal out without breaking the bank.
The customer service is top-notch too. It has that charming small-town vibe where they remember your name on your next visit. If you’re looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere, Market St BBQ is a must-try!

The customer service was top-notch; the staff was friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The owner was on-site, greeting guests and ensuring everyone felt at home, which added a personal touch to the experience.
In addition to the mouthwatering BBQ, they offer a variety of home-cooked vegetables like cabbage, greens, and beans. The baked beans, coleslaw, and potatoes were especially flavorful and complemented the BBQ perfectly.
