Absolutely fresh and delicious!!! Me and the hubby got the regular size bowl and I loved all the great options and the freshness of the food ! It was superb. Ate every bite ! Also definitely try the churros fries with caramel- perfect dessert ♥️

We just found this place and will definitely be back! My daughter got the Cubano sandwich and thought it was awesome, my husband and I did the “Build Your Bowl” options and both loved what we got. Can’t wait to come back and try the other options! Price was great, place was so clean. Happy to have this so close to home!

Having tried the Cuban places in Miami and Palm Beach, this place somehow sells a sandwich significantly better than anything in South Florida. It’s incredible. Had the Pan con Lechon, and it was just leagues above the average Cuban sandwich. Cafe con Leche was great as well. Overall an unreal Cuban place, and a true hole-in-the-wall that you don’t want to miss out on

If you enjoy Latin food and Cuban coffee, The Roost is now open in Westgate Plaza. I went yesterday on their 3rd day of being open and met the owners, James and Claudia, who are locals and very welcoming. The food and coffee were delicious! I grew up in Miami, and the food and atmosphere were family-oriented and authentic. I highly recommend a visit!

I came here on their opening day and let me tell you, they have their recipes perfected as if they have been open for years! I ordered a rice bowl with white rice, mojo pork, and sweet plantains. On top I added pico de gallo (which was unreal), pickled onions, chickpeas, and their cilantro lime sauce (also incredible). I was OBSESSED from the first bite, and did not stop till I had finished every grain of rice. The $15 for the bowl was 100% worth it with how flavorful all of the ingredients were. The pork was a perfect blend of salt and fat, the beans were smooth and did a great job leveling out the dish, the plantains lent a fantastic subtle sweetness, and finally the pico and onions brightened up the whole bowl with their welcome but not overpowering acidity. Just fantastic.
I could write a whole other review about their guava and cheese pasty, but I’ll sum it up with this. Buttery, flaky, cream cheese, and sweet guava paste. Incredible
The croquetas were crispy, the smoked ham inside them was smoky, and my belly is happy.

Friendly service and great food! We had a spicy chicken bowl,pork bowl and a cuban sandwich. One of the best cuban sandwiches I have had…and I have had many. All three we fantastic. Great little place with fresh food and alot of variety!

So happy we found this spot! As soon as you walk in you see it’s super clean and the service is friendly. Absolutely love all the options for build your own bowl. Fabulous selection of bases and proteins plus you get to pick different toppings and a sauce. So many healthy options!!! It was so delicious. Can’t wait to come back!
