I went to this restaurant with my husband & another couple we’re friends with – we had such an amazing time! Everyone who worked at Prime 259 was friendly & attentive 🙂 During my dinner order I was having a hard time choosing between eggplant parm & penne vodka (I’m a vegetarian.) I ended up choosing the eggplant parm dish but shortly after ordering our waiter came to the table and explained they could serve a side of penne vodka with my dish which was so nice! I felt like the staff really were trying to make our experience special & I appreciated every moment. The food & cocktails were delicious! The owner even came to our table & we enjoyed casual conversation she was very sweet! Would definitely go back here – worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Finally had a chance to take my wife out for a long overdue dinner. When we first walked in, the ambience was amazing, the perfect setting for a nice dinner. From start to finish, the service was amazing and the drinks were perfect. Great selection of wine to go with any entree you could have selected. We both got steak and they were cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning.

Had dinner here with my husband and it was a really nice experience. Only a few things that seemed unusual. The atmosphere/decor are very nice and feels upscale, but when you walk in there is a TV showing sports. Absolutely fine with it and didn’t disturb our time here, but seems a little off theme compared to the rest of the space. The other was that their wine menu was not up to date and the server wasn’t sure which ones were in stock. He very kindly checked for us but it would have been nice to have a menu that was up to date. The dress code also seems to not be strictly enforced. Again that’s okay, but maybe an update is needed if people can dress more casually.
Other than those items we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food. Staff was very attentive. Great spot for a date night.

i ordered a steak and they brought back a burnt steak… the steak was 36$…. i ordered two, both burnt totally 72$. I am extremely disappointed. I could not eat the steak because it was inedible and i don’t want to get sick from eating burnt things, so i returned it. The owner was very rude and did not even care to remove the steaks from the bill. Very dissapointed. They charged me for something I did not even touch.
edit: first , 2 steaks were ordered. for both daughters. the steak was very overcooked and dark and it tasted burnt. it was not medium well or well done, it was way beyond that. i have ordered well done steaks at other places and they do not end up burnt. i understand ur menu says no returns but this was not medium well or well done. it was burnt.
second, we told the waiter to ask if this can be removed from the bill since we did not eat it and it was taken away. The waiter returned and said it cannot be removed. So we paid 76$ for 2 burnt steaks that we did not eat.
third and foremost our waiter was good but i am not sure why he decided to take us this late. we only came because on google it said you guys close at 11 pm… and when we tried to leave he reassured us that we can stay. it was a party of 5…3 kids 2 adults… our experience ended negatively especially considering we couldn’t get 2 expensive things we didn’t eat removed off our bill.
nothing is being misrepresented….please stop blatantly lying ??? TWO steaks were ORDERED. The steaks were BURNT.

Very nice service and atmosphere. They will help put together a veggie option. And, they have music, she was very soulful.

I selected this restaurant for my husband’s birthday. Throughout the week, setting this party up has been touch and go. The owner was warm and wanted to help. Then I spoke to another person. We ordered and everyone’s food came out first, not my husband’s. The service was fine, but when given the opportunity to tip, the owner felt it necessary to decide what tip I should use. This is absolutely uncomely and made it very uncomfortable for me. Being here for the first time with such a big event, I was unexpectedly disappointed at the end. Try a bit better bedside manners for this.

I wish i read the reviews before coming here! I read that one person had to pay for steaks (which are very expensive!) that they didn’t eat! This is ridiculous. I see that another woman commented that the owner pressured a tip on her. This is absolutely wrong and uncomfortable. The owner clearly doesn’t value money and expects people to pay for things they didn’t eat and wants people to tip heavily.
My waiter was nice but the prices are not worth it. The food quality does not reflect the prices.

I can’t count how many times I’ve passed this restaurant before going in, but I guess it was worth the wait. Building is beautiful, the bar is nice and welcoming, the staff are above and beyond amazing, the food and drinks were fantastic steak was cooked to perfection. The live music was superb. Miguel was an excellent waiter. I could go on and on about this place!

So, let’s start with the atmosphere, a beautiful restaurant, but not set up well, tables are tight, for a steak house, it should be larger… Service, I was so hoping that we would not have an issue. Miguel was the waiter, he was friendly and somewhat informative, but for the money we would be spending, he was not as sharp as he should be. We asked about beer selections, and he very quickly rattled off the beers, but not if they were bottle or draft. With all the menus, there should be something written down, since it was not a very good list, so they obviously do not change. I will update the service as I go through the evening. It took almost 20 minutes to order and receive the cocktails/beer. Not a good start, the restaurant only had 3 tables, with 2 bartenders on duty, we only ordered a margarita, Old fashioned, and a beer (which, when it finally came, had no head/foam, and not a full glass), Old fashioned was good but sweet, the margarita came is a small round glass, looking like a water glass. The appetizers were ordered and took a good 30 minutes to arrive, my place setting was not on the table when I sat down, and it was supposed to be set for 6, my silverware finally came, so I could start eating, my wife’s stuffed mushrooms were burnt on the bottom, and she said the filling was way over-seasoned. My octopus was good and tender, but not much else as far as flavor, spice, or anything other than the lemon to jazz it up. The long hots were “hot” spicy and tasty, Ceasar salad was good, and the meatballs were ok, nothing to rave about. various people came to the table and cleared the dishes. Now let’s continue with the show. Table cleared, and ready for entrees to arrive. A new place setting came for my steak, and in ample time, the entrees arrived. I had ordered a glass of Philo something for $ 18.00 to come with the entree, well it arrived when I was halfway finished with my ribeye. At this point, I am so disgusted, I gave up. The desvription of the steak, was crunchy mixture of capers, on top and the steak served over a bed of wine broiled tomatoes. Imagine my surprise when it was all dumped over my steak, which was obviously the end cut, full of gristle and fat. So we did order some desserts and coffee, because, how bad could it get. LOL Sfogliatelle were warm, but chewy/doughy, not crunchy, and my double espresso, looked like coffee, and about 4-6 shots worth of espresso, not a double, and grinds down the side of the cup, just sloppy looking. The limoncello cake obviously bought, but taste the was OK. One of our guests had ordered an after dinner espresso martini, it came out after we were finished everything, and the restaurant was only us and 2 tables. One of our party went to the bathroom, and said the girl at the bar was too busy on her phone, and talking to the only person at the bar.
OK my fingers are tired from all the typing, and this is aggravating me all over again. Not a good experience, and as a chef for 36 years, I am embarrassed for this place, and if it is still open in 6 months, I would be amazed. I am being generous by giving 2 stars at this point. Oh, and no manager to be seen all night. When the owner writes a response and says to come back for a 5 star experience, I will not come back on my own dime, you would have to comp this, just as a aside. If that was to happen, I would remove this review.
