It was their second day opening back up after the storm damage. I will have to say they did GREAT!! I had the pork chop breakfast and it was delicious. My side kick had the wing breakfast. We were both looking forward to seeing the full menu and finding our favorite dish. GREAT JOB !!!

It was a cozy spot. When they were on Fox 2 News they bragged about being Black owned but the music was clearly not for our culture nor was the waitress. The waitress agreed to substitutions but then tried to charge for them. The chicken nuggets were just cut up pieces of chicken dry, rubbery and the kids couldn’t eat them and the eggs for omelette were super flat (please add another egg). The kids spilled juice and the waitress came out with a dirty dried rag to clean the floor.

This is cool, cozy, down to earth friendly lil spot to eat at. The servers are nice and pleasant. The cook (Mr. Ed) comes out and great the customers and makes you laugh. They food was delicious and the coffee ☕️ is always hot and fresh. The Salmon bites , Deity potatoes and the pancakes are my favs!!! The ambiance is beautiful and warm. I straight love the burnt orange color of the walls. Bathroom stays clean and they have plenty of parking space. Me, my friends and family all said we will return.
Oh yeah! And the owner Ms. So Deity is the bomb!! We all have room to improve we just give each other a chance.

I ABSOLUTELY love this restaurant! The environment was different and refreshing! Went here for breakfast and ended up ordering the flaming out chicken, and it didn’t disappoint!! Love spicy food, and the mix of sauces was truly on point! The crunch to the chicken was extremely tasty, which I truly LOVE! The salmon croquettes were crunchy and flavorful, which again i love! Each table came with board games with the smooth sound of old school R&B playing in the background is what I live for! Waitress was extremely professional and very polite. The chef and the lady who was working that day really went out of their way to answer every and any questions my husband and I had and were truly welcoming (thank you for that). My husband is a retired chef from Las Vegas Nevada and a current food critic who is hard to please when it comes to food and presentation, and when he walks away, SATISFIED you know this is the place to be!!

We came to Missouri from Indiana and wanted to try family own food places. This was the BEST place we ate at. The amazing people there was so friendly and nice. They gave us suggestions where to go. I would highly recommend this place.

I loved my time here. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. Food was great, however, I was disappointed that there wasn’t more bacon on the bacon platter. I will definitely be going back.

Place looks like a typical greasy spoon joint.
Coffee was great
I had the pork chop plate
Pork chop was very good
Eggs were over easy as ordered, but a little browner than I like.
Potatoes are reheated on the grill mashed potatoes with a little onion and green pepper mixed in (see pic) — not fully heated and not very appealing. They really should go to some sort of hash brown or sliced potatoes.

The blissfulness and showering of gifts in this welcoming environment. Everytime I’m here in St. Louis this black owned black definitely has my support and will be our breakfast spot. Staff friendly is all the southern comfort needed…
