For lunch, I wanted to try something new and a place I had driven by the times I had been to Manchester. The Bread Basket came to mind then I heard their specials on the radio. Figured it was a sign.

After looking at their Facebook page and their menu on their website, the smoked turkey croissant sounded like something I would enjoy with a salad. It was amazing! The raspberry pepper preserves as the spread was a wonderful compliment to the sandwich and the composition was terrific! The croissant was light and flaky which made this a perfect lunch sandwich.

I had a house salad to accompany my sandwich, which went well with the mandarin oranges, pecans and light house dressing. I couldn’t decide if I wanted a soup or salad, so I got some chicken with wild rice soup to go. Their raspberry iced tea was probably Brisk but a nice touch in the glass. No complaints; just trying to remain level headed but it was very good!

Another great mention from their website was their White Chocolate Banana Cream pie. They make it fresh daily, and I see why! I don’t think I’ve ever had a banana cream pie with real bananas throughout; just on top. My slice was truly delightful and unlike any banana cream pie I’ve had before!

The decor and gift shop is super cute and welcoming! The bathroom keeps in mind that families would be visiting them with a step stool for the sink for kids and a basket to assist in diaper changing. The owner had greeted me upon my arrival and I met a few other employees while enjoying my meal. All were pleasant, friendly, and helpful! I can’t wait to visit again! They have a convenience fee, but a notice is on the table I was at and seemed to be on each table.

We very much enjoyed our stop at this charming restaurant today. Lovely staff and it was delicious. Taco soup and croissant sandwich. We’re on a roadtrip from the UK and this has been my favourite lunch so far. Great desserts too. Thanks Breadbasket!

The service and food were excellent. The atmosphere is charming and cozy. Loved the plates they served our lunch on and it matched my mother’s. Has wonderful coffee and brewed ice tea. The gift shop was unique. Our group walked away with 2 purses and 2 wallets. Will be coming back.

This was a very cute and comfortable place. The tables had lace table clothes with a glass topper on them. Real cloth napkins and cute mixed up china plates, bowls and cups. Little crystal salt and pepper shakers. The food was wonderful and the desserts fabulous! Kim our waitress told us that the owner was a farm lady and made all the pies herself. We had the banana white chocolate and french silk chocolate pies. Again, very fabulous! The staff were very attentive and friendly. While we were there a beautiful box of fresh ripe local tomatoes were brought in for food preparation. My husband and I will be back and I want to take my girlfriends to Manchester for lunch!

I cannot say enough good things about this adorable, small town diner! I am from out of town and tried this place last summer when we were in Manchester and loved it so much we know we had to go back next time we were up this way! The environment is super cozy, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, they have cute little gifts you can check out while waiting for your food and the food was all DELICIOUS! We had croissant sandwiches and pie, cake and bread pudding..SO GOOD!! Their cranberry orange bread is also a must! We will definitely be back! If you’re ever in the Manchester area, don’t miss out on this fantastic place!
